The Proxia Mustirion is an Assassin-class corvette owned by the Kotahitanga-Unity Defense Force in service to House Odan-Urr.
Characteristics and Capabilities
The Proxia Mustirion is a standard Assassin-class Corvette, owned by the KUDF and assigned to the covert operations group Strike-team Ooroo, under the aegis of House Odan-Urr. As such, the ship is designed to be a mobile headquarters for the battleteam that they can make use of while in transit to other locations. In terms of armaments, it is not equipped beyond the standard vessel configuration of eight dual turbolasers, six quad laser cannons and four concussion missile tubes. This still makes it a dangerous anti-ship vessel in combat, despite its total lack of atmospheric capability - many starfighters, freighters and light capital vessels are not a match for the heavily-armed corvette. This makes it an ideal mobile headquarters with the ability to protect itself from a wide variety of attacks. Its captain in the stead of the Strike-team is Taryn Celys, a man with six years' experience as a line captain with the Galactic Alliance.
Aesthetically, the ship has been given a fresh coat of white paint with teal striping to contrast with many existing vessels owned by the Dark Brotherhood, as well as to make the vessel unique and stand apart from its brethren. While no external hull parts have been changed, the interior has been given a very plush overhaul for its passengers. Primary of this is the inclusion of a meditation room, which has been modeled after the Jedi meditation rooms of old for a touch of nostalgia. here, the Strike-team members are able to rest and relax after, or even prepare for, a mission.
The briefing room serves also as a communications terminal equipped with a long-range hypercomm transceiver, able to communicate all across the Galaxy using Holonet beacons. Here, the members of the Strike-team are able to prepare and plan for missions while coordinating with other Odan-Urr battleteams and the Summit.
Beyond this, the vessel has been given very few considerations to changes. Passenger and crew quarters have been made more expansive and luxurious, but this is still a minor change. Most of the credits involved in the upgrades were given to the meditation chambers and briefing room due to the low-funds nature of the Jedi Order.
History
Construction
Built on Etti IV in 19 ABY, the ship originally commissioned as Wildstar was built specifically to service the Corporate Sector Authority as one of its many defense ships. During this line of service, the Wildstar earned a number of service commendations for the actions of its crew, usually tasked to the outer edges of Corporate space in order to protect the interests of bankers and their credits, typically on escort missions. It was during one of these missions, however, that she ship was scrapped and the hull was critically damaged with a shot taking out its hyperdrive before ion cannons disabled the vessel. The ship was officially decommissioned by the Corporate Sector Authority after an eight-year service run due to the 'excessive repair costs' - the Corporate Sector found it cheaper to replace the vessel than it would be to repair it to its pristine condition. As such, they sent it to a scrapyard for destruction.
Alpha's Omega
Alpha's Omega found out about the ship through some black-market contacts and Thett Omega knew to pledge his considerable sums of money from his extensive mercenary work to acquire the vessel any way he possibly could. Taking a team of his best to take the damaged vessel using a spacefaring tug, Omega and his crew liberated the vessel from a scrapyard and brought it to the Vergesso Asteroids for repair and refit. While they could not afford a total refit of the vessel and its hull plating, leaving it battered and scarred, they re-vamped much of the inside to afford comfort and utility, such as advanced communications. It immediately gained the name Destructor and was put into active service as a communications and escort vessel of the mercenary company. Despite being a heavily armed combat ship, Destructor saw little to no action in any major engagements, serving more as a command ship than a warship.
Liberation
During the rule of the Thuron Monarchy, the Destructor was used to ferry important persons around for the benefit of Cy Thuron, as part of Alpha's Omega's contract. This led to two VIPs being taken aboard the vessel and assigned honorary command of it during the campaign - Vice Admiral Prilcan and Moff Var Suthra. Upon their taking command of the vessel, they used it to travel to New Tython to inspect the Purity Rock encampment and see the prisoners that had been taken, most specifically the Knights of Allusis battleteam. Upon landing their vessel, Suthra was escorted away, leaving Prilcan with the ship with a company of mercenaries.
At that point, Strike-team Ooroo and the Knights of Allusis, having recently broken out of Purity Rock, made plans to seize the vessel to escape New Tython. Staging a multi-phase attack on the ship, Strike-team Ooroo boarded the ship via a dorsal entrance hatch and seized the ship from the inside. Battleteam Leader Revak Kur duelled Vice-Admiral Prilcan and took him prisoner in the ensuing conflict. Once Ooroo had escaped New Tython, Quaestor Liam Torun awarded the vessel to Ooroo for their exceptional work. The ship was re-named the Proxia Mustirion by the battleteam leader.
