Spirits of the Night was a short-lived battleteam of Caliburnus. After its implementation in late 24 ABY, it never made it to the year 26.
History
Birth of Spirits of the Night
In the fading of the year 24 ABY, it became clear to Impetus that the Battleteams of Nightmare and Nightshade weren’t adequate to support the needs of the house. After consulting with Aedile Xen and Master Arania Lawakiro Palpatine, she suggested that a new team opened for the Journeyman, named Spirits of the Night.
The team was active throughout the Arania Incident, and under the command of Master Niemand, served as a great unit to acquaint the newer members with the procedures and atmosphere of wartime, a first experience even for the young Quaestor.
The team worked so well, by the time of the Seventh Great Jedi War, Impetus had implemented a second identical training team, named Souls of Darkness.
Death of Spirits of the Night
Master Niemand led Spirits of the Night right up until the dissolution of all the CSP Battleteams in late 25 ABY. After the war with Caliburnus, new Quaestor Thran Occasus chose not to re-form the Battleteam, and it faded into history.
