The Xyler Edict is a directive that was issued by Arcturus Xyler during his leadership of House Qel-Droma's battle-team, Dark Orb. It was also introduced in House Galeres and for a brief period in Drynwyn's Flame. The directive states that all members of the battle-team must respond to the weekly Tetrarch's report within one week of it's sending. If this is not done so, the squad members who have not will be transferred off the roster of the squad.
It was first enacted in 24ABY, shortly before the Exodus and remained in force until the departure of Leara Kato from the position of Tetrarch. Recently, the directive was reinstated, this time for Prophecy Phyle. The effects of this are too early to tell. However, in Dark Orb, the efficency and combat readiness of the squad increased dramatically during it's effect.
