Druzk Zornosz is a Barabel mercenary currently employed under a long-term contract by House Qel-Droma of Clan Arcona and part of the Battleteam Voidbreaker.
Character History
Early Life
Druzk was born to wealthy parents that owned an ore mining enterprise on the Barabel homeworld of Barab I. Shortly after his birth and in the care of his engineer uncle, Rhisz Jirsak, his parents' YT-2000 transport exploded as its hyperdrive engines spooled up for a jump during a transport run, killing them instantly. Upon their death, Druzk obtained his inheritance worth millions of credits, handled entirely by Rhisz due to Druzk's young age. Without the business prowess of his parents at the head of the mining company, the company went under only half a standard year later.
While his uncle raised him, Druzk never learned about his parents' relationships with his uncle or the wealth they left for him.
Adolescence and Adulthood
As Druzk matured, Rhisz taught him the basics of firearms handling and the art of repair. When Druzk was old enough to be independent, he eventually learned about the fate of his birth parents thanks to an acquaintance pointing out his surname being the same as a wealthy family from years past. He also learned about the large sum of credits left for him upon their deaths squandered by his uncle.
When confronting Rhisz with this newfound information, his uncle admitted to him that he sabotaged the hyperdrive of their transport ship so that it would explode. Rhisz badmouthed his parents, calling them selfish for allowing him to suffer in poverty while they flaunted their wealth.
Druzk killed him, not specifically for revenge, but more for his uncle's lack of honor by not killing them face-to-face.
No longer with a family to call his own, he had no reason to remain on Barab I. After gathering whatever possessions he could, he left his homeworld entirely in 35 ABY to pursue bounty hunting.
Joining Arcona
While bounty hunting was lucrative and provided him with plenty of credits, money did not fulfill the deep desire the Barabel had for a "family." It was not until he met Zig Kaliska of the Dark Brotherhood on the Outer Rim planet of Tatooine that he was genuinely excited about taking a job. With a bit of convincing, he signed off on a long-term contract with the Brotherhood to provide his services to them, hoping to be part of something that truly deserved loyalty.
Physical Description
As with most Barabel, Druzk easily towers over most beings with his over two-meter-tall, muscular frame. His scales are dark brown, and his eyes are a burnt orange. Thanks to the hardiness of his hide, he has no noticeable scarring.
He typically wears a gray-brown leather jacket—with pants of a different, lighter shade of brown to match—over a white long-sleeved shirt.
