| | (2014) I've updated the main page layout and removed both the "Quotes of the Week" and "Wikipedian of the Month" sections. The reasons for this are neither of these two things have been properly maintained (since inception) or updated in the last year or two. The fact is, deciding on appropriate quotes and excellent wiki users is an unnecessary chore and has no additional benefits. |

| | For now, in their place, I've added a blurb based on the "About Us" recruitment page. This information will be useful for people who stumble onto the DJB Wiki and wish to join. I figure it's more useful information than anything else (that can be automated). We'll use this until we can install the media wiki RSS extension, which will allow us to highlight current news posts from the DB site. --Shadow Taldrya 14:38, 9 May 2014 (MDT) |

| | Not sure this was a good move - WotM was one of the only ways to get a DSS. Now it's going to be a lot harder to get this medal. Perhaps not a major issue for some, but it's always nice to have ways to get the 'specialist' medals. Andrelious 04:19, 10 May 2014 (MDT) |

| | No... DSS is awarded for having a Featured Article for a month. Wikipedian of the Month hasn't existed for over a year and hasn't awarded a DSS for longer. Besides, if we stuck with the actual format for awarding WotM? I'd get it every month based on number of edits made and number of pages modified. I wasn't really into rewarding myself over and over :P |

| | On the other hand, everyone can make wiki pages and, by following guidelines, (Layout Guide) nominate their pages for Featured Article. Many a chance for DSS earning there. And, I have plans to add a Wiki/Wookiee thing called "Good Articles" which are smaller, well-done articles that can be recognized on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. --Shadow Taldrya 17:19, 10 May 2014 (MDT) |

| No clue where else to bring this up, so figure here is as good as any: Not sure if anyone has caught this yet, but if you go to a history page and check one of the previous edits, the changes box is now all white-on-white and nigh impossible to read. I guess this might be due to the new wiki code updates--I'd go in to fix it, but not sure which template or whatever would need updating. --Xanos 20:02, 10 June 2009 (UTC) | | No clue where else to bring this up, so figure here is as good as any: Not sure if anyone has caught this yet, but if you go to a history page and check one of the previous edits, the changes box is now all white-on-white and nigh impossible to read. Table of Contents
This page needs a Table Of Contents or some way for people to get around. Take a look at the GuildWiki site. Kaine Mandaala 10:42, 23 July 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)
I could not agree more. We need to set up a better front page before I am comfortable letting people post away. Help me fill in the front page! Sarin
Well I just edited a page on families. Sorry, I thought it was open to editing. Well if you have room, Id like to join the team that mantain the site. I have a lot of experience with Wikipedia. Just email me at TigerFangRed(at)aol(dot)com. --Tyrus 19:30, 5 September 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)
It's open for editing. Feel free to alter pages. We'll be watching! Kaine Mandaala 21:05, 5 September 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)
Colors
Can we change the pastel colors of the infoboxes on the main page to something more… Dark Jedi?
I'm not talking dark and gloomy, but not pastel. I know that's the colors that were in code when you got it, but let's try something else, shall we? --Tron 19:16, 30 September 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)
Layout
Just a thought really. Maybe we should move most of what's in What's New over to DJBWiki Basics and feature new outstanding articles that have been created (something that has had some exceptional work done to it). Just a thought. --Tron 12:14, 3 October 2006 (Mountain Daylight Time)
Awesome feature. And I agree. We'll make the "What's New" actually something that's -- new.
-- Kaine Mandaala 13:55, 31 October 2006 (Mountain Standard Time)
The front page is starting to look really great. Good job, guys!
-- Retoru 06:20, 12 November 2006 (Mountain Standard Time)
Someone with admin may want to remove the awards category in the "DB Universe" section...a red link on the main-page is bad, mkay?
-- BenevolentWhiner 20:09, 15 February 2007 (Mountain Standard Time)
The new boxes in the DB universe section...I don't think they're very pleasing to the eye. Maybe keep it how it was previously, or try something else?

I would like to change the image http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/skins/monobook/headbg.jpg - but am at a loss as to how (aside from talking to the code-monkies) or what should be put up in it's place. Suggestions? --Tron 00:38, 24 November 2007 (MST)
I believe it's part of the wiki CSS - http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com//wiki/skins/monobook/main.css?42b - which means you'd need a web monkey/gorilla to deal with it. --Shadow Taldrya 11:11, 24 November 2007 (MST)
Char infoboxes
Something I noticed when browsing some articles on the swfanon wiki. If you take a look at this it's what they use for their infoboxes but has a few extra fields, particuarly ones for lightsaber colour and fighting styles (i.e. lightsaber forms). Would it be worth adding those to our infoboxes? I'm not sure if it'd look too cluttered or not, but I noticed it when reading their article for some character called Darth Abeonis and it actually looked somewhat neat to have them listed on the main infobox.--Xanos 08:17, 5 March 2007 (MST)
Sounds like something we should steal... *yoink* :P --Shadow Taldrya 13:09, 5 March 2007 (MST)
That looks pretty cool, Xanos. I think we should have those in our character info boxes. :) -- RevengeX Palpatine 18:18, 5 March 2007 (MST)
Fixages
At the behest of Jac I made some changes to a few of the templates that the main page uses to make things look a lil prettier. But, as you may have noticed, this frees up a bit of space on the right side tables. I was thinking maybe we could add links to either special DB-related pages (RoCs, CoJ stuff, etc) or maybe to wiki help pages (if they exist, or will soon exist)
The changes are fairly simple, though they took a bit of work (and Tarax was distracting me with porn). I re-aligned and increased the width for the cats-main template. Most of the work went into the Clan pics/names. I felt the old version didn't look as nice, so I opted to go with two rows of three - with the Clan names centered under their symbols. Also removed some spacing so it was more like the left side of the page, and put the Clans link in with the other structure links (afaik Clans are structures and it looked weird underneath that all by its lonesome.)

Categories
Can we add a link on the Main Page to all of our Categories? Zaroth 08:55, 2 November 2008 (MST)
Do you mean something like Special:Categories? --RevengeX Palpatine 09:08, 2 November 2008 (MST)
I believe he may mean the category templates that we made for the clans.--Anubis 09:46, 2 November 2008 (MST)
If he means the ones like RevengeX said, he can just scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link there. As for the Clan templates, why would they needed to be linked on the Main Page? ~ Legorii 09:56, 2 November 2008 (MST)
Rev, yes, that was what I meant. Sorry if there was any confusion. Zaroth 08:25, 4 November 2008 (MST)
