| Jame’s family all went through the military; it was a father son tradition so to speak. He had tried out for the military and the Dlarit Security force but due to an injury he received on the job he wasn’t allowed to return to active duty. This happened when he was merely 21 and devastated him beyond belief until he met a man who introduced him to the Dlarit Police. It didn’t take him long to fit right in, but he had hated the way it was run thought about quitting many times and possibly starting up another civilian group, but somehow he was always convinced to stay. He rose quickly through the ranks, usually by methods deemed correct, other times were usually the unfortunate accidents of superiors, that he swears he has nothing to do with but some still give him a watchful eye. He runs the Dlarit police just like it were the military or special forces, as it was all he knew and loved. Most of the civilians don’t mind but some say he could soon find a mutiny on his hands.

Biography
Fairly tall, about 5’9” with shoulder length brown hair, James Ganymede has a slight pencil-type mustache that is trimmed immaculately so that it follows the curve of his upper lip. His beard consists of a soul patch sculpted in a square-shape. A staple of the human race, he has crystal clear blue eyes that capture anyone’s attention. He spends enough time in the gym to maintain a good physique but is not overtly muscular.
Like all members of the Ganymede-family, James entered into service when he came of age. At 21 years old, he had received a work-related injury to his right arm. Not allowed to active duty, the devastated James took to the bottle and spent most of his time in the local bars until he met a recruiter for the Dlarit Police. A handful of introductions, and James was off to his new career in the corporate police force.
It didn’t take him long to fit in as he found many similarly-minded colleagues who, like him, believed in the power of a military force. This mindset often led to him disagreeing with his superiors which, because of the repetitive nature and his tendency to openly argue the decisions of his superiors, earned him a note in his dossier. When he received word of the latest addition to his record, he contemplated leaving but was talked out of it by his fellows. Ultimately, he decided that he could do better than his superiors and began a meteoric rise through the ranks.
His ascension through the ranks was characterized by several high-impact cases, smart political maneuvering and the liberal application of military discipline. Whenever James came up to a second-in-command position, his CO would mysteriously suffer some form of accident that would inevitably lead to them being discharged. It was usually James that benefitted from these strange accidents, but he swears that he has had nothing to do with these and that he merely wishes to serve in the force.
By the time that he became 35, he had been placed in command of the Dlarit Police forces which he ran as his own private special forces unit. Complaints about police brutality were becoming commonplace, but crime rates were drastically reduced. His men enjoyed an unprecedented level of bureaucratic freedom, while civilian protests were on the rise. Several inquiries had been launched by the department of internal affairs, but no concrete evidence had been found.
During the time where the Dominion virus swept across Aeotheran, the Dlarit Police force acted mostly as first responder, nearly performing on-par with the military forces sent to set up the quarantined zones in the capital. During this time, it was also that James’ parents were infected with the virus and consequently passed away due to its effects. This news devastated James yet again, but instead of grabbing for the nearest bottle, it sparked a hatred of the Dominion in him which he was able to imprint onto his men as well. During the clean up days, the reports of violence against Dominion-sympathisers spiked to an all time high.
