ILLUMINANCE was a crisis surrounding Clan Odan-Urr from 39 ABY through to 41 ABY, initially started by the hijacking of a Sentinel Network satellite.
Intercepted
Opening Fiction
The first warnings for Clan Odan-Urr was the unusual activity surrounding a number of covert satellite units, with the 3PO unit Operator citing surrounding interference from incoming data. While floating clouds of dust and solar radiation were cited as common problems, agents Paula Simione and Arth Garfkl began to more closely examine the data as more worrying elements emerged. Only a single satellite - SeNWatch 6 - was showing disruption, with no issues on any other orbiting object in the system. After attempting to isolate it, they were able to recognise a local comm frequency and realised that it was being tampered with.
Following this revelation, Director Merton contacted Counsellor Revak Kur and alerted the summit to the ongoing situation. With the threat it potentially posed, and Luna Okami citing the risk of mercenaries tampering with it given its position past Sorilis, members of both Clan houses were dispatched to investigate the activity.

First Update
Responding to the threat, Aura Ta'var and Draxion Durk were able to board the station and directly confront the mercenaries. Not expecting substantial resistance, they were able to swiftly incapacitate the boarders and prevent their departure. Although the pair were able to retrieve a set of holodiscs that the group had been trying to directly steal, they found that information had been broadcast from the station shortly before their arrival. The message, a small executable code, was thought to be a virus but it would take time to fully analyse.
Meanwhile on the Godless Matron, Ka Tarvitz had been dispatched to Chute Town. Coordinating with both Paula Simione and Arth Garfkl, the group was intended to survey and observe an ongoing target that was likely the recipient of the dispatched message. The target, a Togruta given the codename Robinson, was making an effort to avoid being observed. Eventually meeting with an agent dressed in armour akin to the defunct Imperial Security Bureau, Tarvitz was able to watch a brief exchange between the two. The agent spoke of having paid enough to the Togruta and of the information marking Kiast as a prime target for liberation. At the same time, the Togruta argued for higher pay due to the risks incurred. When payment was handed over at last and the agent departed, the coinbox was trapped, killing the Togruta seconds after it was opened.
Although both Sentinel Network agents and Tarvitz hunted for any sign of the agent, they were unable to track his movements, but were deeply concerned with his choice of words.
Revelation
Second Update
In an unknown location, the agent who had contacted Robinson took time to examine the retrieved information. The information broadcast related specifically to the Jedi Praxeum on Kiast, with details focusing upon its interior patrols, protective methods, and inner vaults. During this time he was contacted by an Arkanian by the name of Lady Cicilia, a dominant member of the same unknown organization. In their curt exchange, they outlined efforts needed to make up for their failed effort to capitalize on the events of Vatali Unsettled and need to make up for the loss of Commodore Arcturus. During the conversation, Arcturus is revealed to have been working for them, manipulating events for their benefit. Both believed that the Jedi would only see their destruction, alluding the loss of New Tython and countless wars that had followed them, and planned to liberate the relics and occupy Kiast to improve their powerbase.
During the same time, members of Odan-Urr's Summit were making their own plans, gathering details on all that had taken place up to that point. They were aware of the full details that had been broadcast, outlining patrol routes, security measures, and multiple strongpoints. Concerned as to what it might mean, Revak Kurr had increased security about the area, but they were still in the dark as to who was threatening them. The limited information they had indicated a group with Imperial origins, but beyond the Severian Principate there were no specific major powers that they had encountered. With little more to go on for the moment, they opted to dispatch the Sentinel Network on a massive hunt to identify who was threatening them.
