| Zagro Fenn is a male Umbaran member of Clan Scholae Palatinae who is a skilled sorcerer and researcher. Orphaned by the age of twelve he became a skilled scavenger and treasure hunter scouring the wastelands and slums of Raxus Prime before learning of his heritage and seeking vengeance for his family off-world. The young Umbaran quickly made a name for himself and a small fortune specializing in Sith artifacts and Force-sensitive relics related to earlier epochs.

| While under contract to scavenge priceless items from the Tomb of Marka Ragnos on Korriban, Zagro found his first holocron and miraculously activated it gaining access to the ancient Sith. The Sith's holocron told Fenn about lords that served Ragnos and was the first step to honing his latent Force abilities. The power and knowledge held within the holocron was seductive, and Fenn scoured system after system finding both Sith and Jedi holocrons, scrolls, and manuscripts. The Umbaran, coaxed by the lessons and guidance on the growing cache of holocrons sought out others like him and found Antei and was allowed entry to the Shadow Academy where he rapidly rose up the ranks to become a skilled Gray Jedi and one of the premier researchers on staff. | | Ragnar Kul was born under the ominous and bleak spires of the industrial wasteland of Raxus Prime. The once booming and prosperous metropolis world was far past its prime millennia ago, and the recent resurgence of the world due to the exploits of Count Dooku and the Confederacy of Independent Systems had given way to near lawlessness under lax control by the nascent Tion Hegemony and the Imperial overlords. |
| | |
| Zagro Fenn was born in 13 ABY on Hapes to Captain Garreth Fenn and Cressida Tenelijo. The elder Fenn was a mid-level officer in the Hapan Royal Navy aboard the Hapan Battle Dragon Ardent Fury. Captain Fenn was one of the lesser sons of House Fenn whose commission owed to merit and not pedigree. Cressida, originally of Dathomir, came to Hapes in the advent of the closer relations between the Hapes Consortium and the Dathomiri clans upon the marriage of Prince Prince Isolder and Queen Teneniel Djo.
| |
| | |
| In 15 ABY while Fenn was away serving on Ardent Fury, Cressida divorced him and married the scion of House Drollen, Madrax Drollen III. As the favorite son of the Matriarch Saleen Drollen, Madrax seduced Cressida and forced her to leave her husband. The Matriarch of House Drollen, one of the branches vying for control of the Hapes Consortium, not wanting any potential scandal forbade Cressida from taking her son with her.
| |
| | |
| Forced from his position in the Hapan Royal Navy by House Drollen’s avarice, the elder Fenn raised his son as best he could and became a notorious explorer and trader in Hutt Space. Zagro often accompanied his father during these missions and had a relatively tranquil if not stable childhood.

| ===Beginnings of a Slicer===
| |
|
| |
| | |
| During one of the many potential Hapan coups, House Drollen was implicated of complicity. To shore up all internal fracturing Saleen ordered the murder of Garreth and Zagro Fenn in late 25 ABY. House Drollen’s hit squad raided the Fenn villa killing all inhabitants. Luckily, Zagro was working in the hanger nearby and was unharmed but witnessed his father and many friends killed. Trion Fenn, a cousin of Zagro, was mistaken for the target and the assailants reported a successful mission.
| |
| | |
| Without a home and without credits, forced to take on a fake identity to avoid the wraith of House Drollen, Zagro turned to the streets for survival. Displaying an uncanny skill at slicing the young Hapan flourished in the Hapan underground supporting smuggling operations and conducting espionage for the warring great Houses.
| |
| | |
| In 30 ABY, Zagro was arrested for slicing into House Drollen’s records. He was following up on damaging information the House had on the reigning Queen and was informed on by unknown sources that were able to detect the slicing attack.
| |
| As Kallen Ravengo he was sentenced to 10 years of prison on one of the asteroids in the Transitory Mist.

| |
| | |
| Six months into his sentence in the Transitory Mists, Zagro was granted a pardon due to the patronage of unknown sources on the condition that he be conscripted in the Hapan Royal Navy. His slicing skills and high computer aptitude allowed him entry to flight crew training for troop transport convoy duty. In this role he excelled and earned him marks for team leadership, tactical proficiency, and close-range defense. It was during this period he was designated dual-blaster marksman.
| |
| | |
| During the Yuuzhan Vong Crisis mounting losses allowed Fenn to gain a commission as Ensign and was assigned to the Queen’s Royal Logistics Regiment. In this role Zagro lead the planning and mission support for a squadron of troop transports and shuttle-craft. In the events shortly prior to the victory at the Battle of the Transitory Mists, Zagro’s squadron was instrumental in alleviating the siege of a Hapan garrison under attack from Yuuzhan Vong slave troopers and warrior caste brigades. Under withering fire from superior air assets the Queen’s Royal Logistics Regiment was able to not only sustain the beleaguered garrison but facilitate the counterattack that forced the Vong to reposition their forces to the far side of the Mist.
| |
| | |
| After the hidden Hapan Home Fleet trapped and annihilated the Vong invasion forces in the Hapes Consortium, Zagro was promoted meritoriously to Lieutenant and was granted command of the 712th Tactical Wing of the regiment. In the mop-up work in the Mist, Zagro’s wing spotted a hidden Vong ground force of zealots that launched a suicide attack on the forward operating base of the 712th. Fenn rallied his men and was able to evacuate most of his personnel but over 200 supporting personnel were massacred while the troop-ships were ferrying infantry units to destroy the Vong compounds remaining.
| |
| | |
| A court of inquiry found Zagro not guilty of any wrongdoing and proposed another promotion that Fenn refused. He resigned his commission in 34 ABY and was transferred to the Intelligence Division.
| |
| | |
| ===Agent of Hapes and Arrival at Antei===
| |
|
| |
| | |
| Due to the controversial nature of his reassignment Zagro was assigned to the Agents of Hapes committee. As an operative of this clandestine unit he was sent to Hutt Space to seek out and report on any Force-sensitive organizations or external Hapes Consortium.
| |
| | |
| In 36 ABY he received reports of several star systems off the beaten track that were receiving increased trading and smuggling activity yet no other government were taking the accounts seriously. After a long undercover operation, Zagro fell in with a smuggler ring known as Trident’s Viper. Ancient Sith artifacts were being unearthed and trafficked to the region of space under investigation. Zagro stayed with these leads and reported to Hapes regularly but received lukewarm support of his findings. He finally received a break in the investigation and loaded out a freighter for a mission to Antei.
| |
| | |
| Upon entering Dark Jedi Brotherhood space in 37 ABY, Fenn visited Antei and was overwhelmed with the clandestine machinations of a Force-sensitive brotherhood running entire star systems of backwater edges of space. Months into his time on Antei reports stopped flowing in from Hapes. In an attempt to force a Holo-Net spike to get word back to the Hapes Consortium Zagro was taken in for questioning and was taken to the Shadow Academy.
| |
| | |
| Here the staff learned of Fenn’s Dathomiri lineage owing to his mother’s Night Sisters heritage. His Force potential was moderate at best but he passed the required courses and was elevated to an Initiate and sent on a Sentinel-class shuttle to Judecca in Scholae Palatinae held territories to become a member of the independent house.
| |
| | |
| ===Current Assignment===
| |
|
| |
| | |
| Zagro has recently arrived on Judecca and is living at the Imperial Winter Palace. Here he is struggling to progress in his nascent Krath training and facing his demons. While still afflicted with the narcotic dependancy he turned to in order to dull his guilt from the Yuuzhan Vongwar he has found solace in the Black Spur Cantina down below in Ohmen City. Alone here, away from his Scholae Palatinae and Battle Team Acclivis Draco bretheren he is attempting to let go of his past.
| |
| | |
| In late 38 ABY Fenn took an extended leave to return to the Shadow Academy to finish his training. He is currently rank VI in the Shadow Academy Society. Zagro returned full time to House Scholae Palatinae in 38 ABY upon being promoted to Dark Jedi Knight.
| |
| | |
| ===Looking Home Caina Campaign===
| |
| | |
| Late 38 ABY saw House Scholae Palatinae faced with growing unrest on Caina during the Cainian Strikes crisis. Zagro Fenn went with the strike team to assist House Dorimad Sol in retaking their planet against the Fias Zhan dissidents. He played a key role in securing the Ka'sim Citadel and personally killed enemy commander, General Millard as the Dark Jedi apprentices loyal to Zhan were hunted down and eradicated.
| |
|
| |
|
| Also, Fenn was instrumental in gaining ancient intelligence on the personage of Dorimad Sol and deciphered The Sword epic poem pertaining to the legendary swordsman. While this did not lend front line support to the military incursion, it did open a vast treasure trove of intelligence for the Dark Jedi of Scholae Palatinae.
| | Kul's solitary and neglected upbringing had a deep impact on the inquisitive and naturally outgoing Zeltron. Without an outlet for his budding social needs or companionship, he turned to reading and study of all the trash heaps of history that is Raxus Prime. He also learned to be highly manipulative and cunning as well. Publicly he acted as a caring and ponderous youth who fostered a sense of community all the while dreaming of venturing to the stars for wealth, glory, and security. |

| ===Promotion to Dark Jedi Knight=== | | ===Treasure Hunter & Introduction to Smuggling=== |
| | Ragnar's later adolescence and early manhood was a period of intense dedication to the craft of treasure hunting and excavation of ancient Sith and Jedi locations spread out amongst the far flung expanse of the Mid Rim. He honed his skills on fencing these goods and smuggling them undetected through Imperial checkpoints and blockades. |

|
| During an assignment to track down fleeing Fias Zhen dissidents on the edge of Hutt Space, Zagro was recalled to Judecca by orders of the Emperor. Upon arrival, the rouse was sounded and Zagro Fenn was granted knighthood under the auspices of House Scholae Palatinae. This has been seen as a turning point for the young Krath neophyte. No longer a supplient but a battle tested and tried warrior, Fenn has entered a transition phase. He has taken off his researchers robe from the Shadow Academy and has vowed to not take off his House Scholae Palatinae Sovereign armor until he is promoted to Krath Priest and fully indoctrinated into the Equites ranks.
| | The first stop was on Ossus, not far from the environs of the Tion Hegemony. Ossus awarded Kul a rich hunting ground, here he spent years pursuing Jedi artifacts and learning much from the old library world. He made a small fortune on selling these trinkets as oddities to the occasional tourist and spacer that braved the Imperial control to conduct research here. |
|
| |
|
| Fenn was recovered fully from his alcohol and narcotic dependencies and has even started to open up to his fellow Scholae Palatinae brothers, albeit slowly. In this change, Fenn has decided to focus on becoming a Krath sorcerer instead of a Krath assassin in order to better interact with his fellows and fully embrace the brotherhood.
| | His exploits had attracted the notice of the Imperial overlords. In the aftermath of the Great Jedi Purge and the rise of the Empire, few could study the Jedi without strict scrutiny and the danger of being abducted and questioned. Hot on his heels, Imperial agents were closing in and the window of escaping an Imperial jail cell was diminishing. Kul was forced to turn over his entire fortune to bribe his persecutors and seek passage on a mining vessel in the employ of pirates to the ancient Sith colony of Malachor V. |
|
| |
|
| ===Promotion to Krath Priest===
| | Now in his early twenties, penniless, and with only the clothes on his back and no way of communicating with his remaining friends on Raxus Prime, Kul determined to make the best of it on the backwater of Malachor V near the Outer Rim. Far from the heart of the ancient Sith Empire, Malachor V held many secrets to discover. He plied his trade, and assisted the pirates who stalked the system waiting for any wayward traveler or Imperial survey team that was unlucky enough to trespass in this foreboding system. |
|
| |
|
| After becoming a full fledges knight, Fenn was appointed as the Sergeant for Acclivis Draco. This came at a focal point as the true nature of the Fias Zhen uprising became known. Caught off guard patrolling the streets of Othmen City, the plague began to spread. Pinned down, isolated, and cut-off the Imperial survivors regrouped and expelled Zhen and his people. The Imperial Winter Palace was lost during the carnage which was soon overshadowed by the XIth Great Jedi War.
| | Ragnar eventually made his way to Korriban. Relying on his resourcefulness, for a time he was able to evade the hostile creatures and unknown legions of Force users that had waged war on Korriban. Near the Tomb of Ajunta Pall, Ragnar sought refuge and for a time was able to hide in the ruins and subsist off of the local flora and fauna he could track and kill. Hunting by night and learning the ancient Sith culture and history by day the first few weeks on Korriban passed uneventfully. This all changed when he was captured by a strike team from the Shadow Academy who took him to their headquarters. |
|
| |
|
| Fenn achieved a personal goal in being assigned as the Professor of Core Studies within the Shadow Academy and split much time between Antei and Judecca. During this intensely rigorous period, he achieved the rank of Magna Cum Laude graduate and has thus donned the robes of a Fellow of the Shadow Academy with pride.

| Zagro Fenn was assigned to Battle Team Acclivis Draco in 38 ABY and serves as the team's computer & slicing expert. Due to his war experiences and jaded history he has shied away from offering his tactical expertise on Battle Team level exercises as yet but secretly harbors desires to once again lead men and women into battle.
