| Lyspair is a, by all accounts, desolate wasteland. Much of the planet is covered by arid steppes and desert. Small plants and dry grasses can be found, but larger flora must be imported. Mountain ranges randomly scar the surface of the planet. Two oceans, one slightly larger than the other, comprise approximately 17 percent of the moon's surface, and they give the moon a tennis-ball like appearance. Steep cliffs rise above the oceans along almost every coastal area. The Shadow Academy is located on just one of these cliffs above the smaller of the two oceans. There are very few traditional beaches.
