Sword of Lysu Thren

From Wikipedia of the Dark Brotherhood, an online Star Wars Club

Description:

The Sword of Lysu Thren is an ancient example of the early Bogan-inspired weapons . It is a single-edged weapon, forged of a dull greenish metal that remains dull in color even in direct illumination. It weighs approximately 7 Kg, and is 1.2 M in length. The Sword crawls with wisps of bluish energy when in use. There is no wooden handle or leather wrapping the hilt. The blade is instead a single solid piece of metal from hilt to tip. A crystal of dark red adegan is imbedded in the pommel of the weapon. The Sword is an unstable shatterpoint, and hungers for the life of those who wield it.

History:

Created by the Dark Jedi that fled Tython after the Force Wars, the Sword was first forged by a student of Xo’Xaan known as Lysu Thren. The blade was created during the time that the Dark Jedi traveled the stars before arriving at Korriban. Thren used the weapon against Xo’Xaan in an attempt to destroy his former Master and was in turn defeated and killed when it betrayed him. She exiled her former student’s body to the Drongar System in the Outer Rim.

The weapon was lost to time until recently discovered in the Drongar System by minions of the mad Zoraan. The weapon was used in the Battle of Horizons against Muz Ashen and was ultimately lost by Zoraan when it betrayed him. It is currently secured in the possession of the Dark Council.

Properties:

The Sword’s metal is resistant to energy of even high grades, such as blasters, lightsabers, and Force Lightning. It does not enhance the wielder’s power in the Force, however, it does enhance the Force-resistance and defensive abilities of the wielder. It also can emit a powerful attack similar in form to the Spear of Midnight Black, a tentacle of dark energy that destroys flesh and life. The Sword finally can strongly enhance the Drain Energy and Absorb or Deflect Energy abilities of the wielder. All of the Sword’s effects vary in power directly with the user’s own ability in the Force.

Drawbacks:

It is rumored that a Starweird is imprisoned within the blade, and thus Sword is extremely well attuned to the Dark Side; so much so that it almost seems to have its own will. It betrayed it’s original owner Lysu Thren when he confronted his former Master. The blade also withdrew it’s power during the conflict with Muz Ashen and Halcyon Rokir. The treacherous weapon serves the Final Way, and not it’s master.
