The Doomsday is a heavily modified Neutron Star-class bulk cruiser.
Role
The Doomsday functions to compliment the already awesome firepower of the VSD Corsair. The heavy armament made the Doomsday ideal for knocking out ships up to the size of light cruisers.
The Doomsday is normally part of the Tarentum Raiding Force, along with Creeping Death and Cerberus. The Doomsday provides the firepower for light raiding and covert operations, while the faster Corvettes provide fighter cover and fast attack capability. Alternatively, the Doomsday with its escorts act as part of Battlegroup Kraken to augment the main force of the Clan's Fleet.
History
Tarentum's choice in Capital Gains, it was named in honor of the late Fleet Admiral Doomsday.
