A contingent of the Arcona Armed Forces (AAF) Medic Corps and held under House Galeres, the Galeres Field Medic Corps (GALFMC) is made up of members from it's hosting House. The GALFMC is also affilated with the Dajorran Marshals and has several members amongst the Battleteam's ranks.

Formation of the Unit

The idea for the formation of the GALFMC came to Sivall soon after the incident on Gethsemane, where a space cruise liner crashed into the moon's surface causing a humanitarian crisis. While members of Galeres originally though the mission was only a recovery of the ship's core and blackbox, survivors were quickly found in the rubble.

When the mission was over, Sivall sat down and thought about what could have been done differently. In an attempt to save the lives of the members of the house, as well as any survivors, she founded and formed the Galeres Medic Corps-- doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals that would be trained in Field Medicine and Trauma Surgery and sent out with groups during missions.
