Tolok Muyel was a Yuuzhan Vong from the Warrior caste and held the rank of Commander at the time of the conclusion of the Yuuzhan Vong War. He commanded the Matalok cruiser Voice of Agony.

Tolok was sexually involved with Attendant Eckla Muyel, who took advantage of the warrior's age and eagerness for promotion, convincing him to turn a blind eye to her possibly heretical activities with Niiriit Phaath.
