The Tarentum Security Directorate is currently assigned to House Mortis and thus, controls security of their headquarters at Castle Tarentum. Being a specialized military unit, the organization prefers quality soldiers over a quantity which is the main reason why it is still a relatively small unit. They are still unknown to the people of the Yridia system however, only known to the Dark Jedi of Clan Tarentum.
History
The Tarentum Security Directorate was formed by Aedile Dranik Tarentae. Dranik formed the organization to be the House’s version of a special operations division. Originally, every unit and their commander within the Directorate was classified but when they were reassigned, in 39 ABY to House Mortis, the Directorate took a more public role and consequently their identities became declassified.
