Character History
Early Life
Not many details are known about Khaldrago's past, most are hidden or classified in the Brotherhood´s archives waiting to be uncovered. But it is known that he was born on Naboo, the year 10 ABY from Human parents.
Life as an Orphan
Immediately following his birth, they abandoned him in an orphanage, he never heard anything regarding the whereabouts of his parents or who they where. That, along with the usual mockery almost all orphans receive, left a deep scar in him and was the source that fed his anger and hate for the world around him.
Many times he was "disciplined" by the orphanage's guardians during his stay there, he was beaten and left locked in a dark room in isolation for days for no reason at all. If only they knew that their acts where merely feeding the beast that was about to explode..
Escape
Some years later, after beating him or as they used to call it disciplined him, they locked Khaldrago in an isolation room for provoking a fight earlier in the day. After the three guardians locked his door and started walking away, they heard a loud scream from inside the room and it was at that time that Khaldrago, in a burst of anger and before the fearful eyes of his guardians, sends the door of his isolation room flying away like if it was a piece of paper.
His guardians trembling in fear from what they had just witnessed, not believing that a mere kid could use what appeared to be the Force, looked inside the room and saw Khaldrago's silhouette covered in a dark aura; immediately as he turned around to face them, they saw his bright red eyes glowing in the darkness looking at them; they had never felt such a piercing stare, such a strong murderous intent. Before they could react, he charged at them so fast that one can only describe what happened next as a blood bath. There were three guardians, two where killed almost instantly and the last one died a few days later when he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Khaldrago escaped the orphanage that day and nobody else tried to get in his way to stop him.
Days later he found refuge in an abandoned house as far as possible from the orphanage as he could, still shocked from what had happened, he assessed the situation and tried to remain hidden and under the radar as to not attract unwanted attention.
First Master
Two years passed by, until an unknown Gray Jedi passing near the abandoned house sensed a disturbance in the Force that led him straight to the young boy. He found him laying on the bed in a dark room and he asked him his name without entering. Khaldrago surprised to hear the old man's voice, rapidly jumps off the bed and looks at him, fearing that he was discovered by the people of the orphanage and afraid that they might lock him up again, he immediately charged against the stranger, in a swiftly move, the old man lifts his arm towards Khaldrago with his palm wide open and immediately immobilized him. Khaldrago angry but unable to move and amazed at the old man's display of power, asked him what he wanted. The answer he received was truly unexpected, "to guide you" the old man said while releasing him from his hold. Khaldrago was left speechless and suspicious of the old man's words, but eventually he decided to play along and see how the events would unfold.
It was very hard for the old man to gain Khaldrago's confidence, betrayed from his own parents and abused by the orphanage's guardians, he had never trusted anyone in his life. But in the end, throughout his teaching he managed to win his trust. He was the first one he called a Master, the one that taught him the basic secrets of the Force. Along with him for the next few years he learned how to control his anger, how to channel his hate and how to harness the power that gave him his freedom.
When he had nothing more to teach him, the Master just vanished never to be seen again, but this time Khaldrago didn't felt betrayed, he understood that it was the time to find his own path. Using the lessons and knowledge that his Master gave him the time had come for him to create his own Legacy..
Teen years and rise to adulthood
Getting of Planet
Khaldrago hasn't shared a lot of information about his teen years, it is known however that after he and his Master parted ways, he decided he had to leave Naboo and start exploring the galaxy and since he didn't own a spaceship he needed someone else's aid to achieve that.
So, after roaming Naboo's spaceport for a while he overheard that there was a group of Bounty Hunters about to leave the planet. Without hesitation he barged in the Bar where the bounty hunters were located and with a firm voice he asked to form part of the group. upon hearing that, the bar regulars and the Bounty Hunters burst into laughter and turned their backs on the young man. Seeing their reaction, Khaldrago swiftly grabbed one of the Bounty Hunters that was almost double his size and with no effort at all, he send him flying across the bar leaving everybody astonished. Then, looking again at the Leader of the group, this time with a more serious voice and his eyes glowing red, he asked again if he can join the group, but this time nobody laughed.
Working as a Bounty Hunter
The group stayed together for quite some time, completing various bounty's and gaining notoriety for their excellent results. During that time Khaldrago kept practicing on the teachings of his old Master growing stronger with each passing day. Due to his Master's training, acrobatic abilities, dexterity and use of the Force he specialized in stealth missions and used a Vibrorapier as a weapon when the circumstances called for violence.
That was until that one fateful mission, the bounty that altered his destiny forever.
Fateful Meeting
One day they received an urgent demand from a Hutt Crime Lord to hunt for a woman and take her down dead or alive. The pay was 5 times their normal price, they should have wondered why at the moment but the zeros of the paycheck diverted all their attention and the best part was that they didn't even have to track her down. The Hutt had arranged some kind of exchange on a remote location of Nar Shaddaa and all they had to do was make the appointment and apprehend her.
Upon arriving at the designated location a little earlier than the appointed time in order to get ready, they followed their usual plan of action, Khaldrago as always was going to go "solo" to try and get her down unnoticed, one of the Bounty Hunters would act as the contact for the exchange and the rest of them would remain hidden until they received the signal to attack.
When the meeting time came, from afar they could see what appeared to be the silhouette of person walking towards them. It was dark and they couldn't tell that it was a woman until she was a lot closer. When she arrived, Khaldrago still hidden and waiting for an opportunity to strike, used Force Sight a technique his old Master taught him to enhance his sight in order to overcome the darkness and see his target better. There she was, a young woman with long blond hair with golden highlights falling over her shoulders and coming to a rest on top of her breasts, her ruby red lips made a huge contrast with her blue almost translucent eyes and her shapely hips gave her an hourglass figure. For a moment there, Khaldrago lost in her beauty was caught off-guard when she suddenly took down the contact man and activating a detonator that was hidden in her belt she blew up the terrain around her taking down his comrades. Without hesitation, khaldrago draw his Vibrorapier and performed a Force Jump to rapidly close the distance between them and strike her down from behind. But just when he was about to give the killing blow, something red flashed in front of him and deflected his attack throwing him a few meters back. Quickly he got up again and stared at his opponent; it was then when he saw what she was wielding in her right hand, a bright red blade, but that was no ordinary blade, that was a Lightsaber!
That's when he noticed the purple Phoenix tattoo unnaturally glowing in the dark and he couldn't believe his eyes.. How could he have been such a fool, how didn't he realized it before it was too late, he had heard the rumors before, only this was no rumor, it was Her standing right before him, The Red Rose!
He quickly charged against her again holding firmly his Vibrorapier but although his swordsmanship was pretty good, it was no match for a Sith and with almost no effort she disarmed him and cut him in his right eye just before blasting him away against a rock with a Force Push. Khaldrago bleeding from his right eye and in pain from the strong impact pulls himself up once again looking at the young woman. He had not felt so powerless for years, ever since the first encounter with his former Master. Upon looking at the young woman he noticed that she had started walking towards him and not wanting to go down so easy, he grabed his Vibrorapier in his right hand again and dashes at her as fast as he could in a last attempt to at least feel the satisfaction that he was able to cut her in battle; but before even getting at 5 meters from her, she stretches her left arm pointing at him while he was rushing through the air and unleashes a Force Shock that tossed him again against the rock.
Khaldrago was laying on the ground, utterly defeated and smoking from the lightning strike, still dazed from the overwhelming attack, he looks at her waiting for the killing blow but is surprised to see that she powers down her Lightsaber and while walking towards him she speaks calmly "I came here for you! You have no place among these scum", confused and unable to believe his ears, Khaldrago could only utter one word "How...?" and she replied "It was all planned from the beginning, I was the one that set the Bounty on my head and specifically asked for your group's services in order to get to you", Khaldrago couldn't understand a thing, why The Red Rose had taken an interest in him? Nothing made sense, why? For what purpose? Her words broke the silence and put and end to his wondering mind "You will become my new apprentice" she said. Khaldrago could not understand the reasons behind her actions but he knew all to well that he shouldn't get carried away by his Ego pushing him to make a last attempt to take her down that would undoubtedly fail and put an end to his life. Somehow in the messed up situation he was in, he had a moment of clarity, and understood that there was no humiliation in his defeat, he was clearly outmatched my someone a lot more powerful than him and for some unknown to him reason that same person offered to take him as her apprentice. He realized that he had one more chance, one more chance to learn from someone a lot stronger than him, just as it had happened years back on Naboo.
For whatever the reason, of all the possible outcomes he could think off, this was definitely a positive one so without much thinking he pulled himself together and knelt before her. She looked at him and said "Good, come now apprentice, a whole new world will open before you"
