Capital of the Jusadih System and headquarters of Clan Plagueis, Kapsina, once a planet of massive oceans, underwent the devastation of Jusadih’s sun, Sigil, turning the once luscious planet into a dry, desolate landscape. Kapsina is composed of five continents: Kurast, Calimcha, Asinai, Schall, Khanduras. Kapsina possesses two Adegan crystal veins, giving the planet great importance to the Dark Jedi. It was spared the devastation of the Yuuzhan Vong War.

History

Satellite Description

Nasva

Kapsina has but one moon, named Nasva. It is a dark foreboding ball of rock covered in canyons and jagged peaks. Though lacking an atmosphere and unable to support sentient life as we know it, the moon is rich in mineral wealth. Core samples have been taken by research teams and probes from various mining companies and Republic agencies indicating high concentrations of minerals and ore. Yet for some reason, there has never been a dedicated effort to establish a mining colony on its surface.

Nasva, moon of Kapsina.

These findings are further supported by records from Jusadih Independence Coalition units entrenched on and under Nasva's surface during the War of Ascension. JIC construction efforts were often hindered by dense ore deposits. These deposits also hindered House Plagueis' efforts to root out the JIC resistance. The Battle of Nasva, also known as Operation Cascade, lasted five months before the JIC combatants finally submitted to Regime rule. Several weeks after the JIC surrendered on the moon, all combatants, JIC and Clan Plagueis alike, were evacuated off its surface in great haste. Detachments from the Ascendant Fleet were then posted above Nasva to form a blockade. There was no explanation nor apparent reason for the hasty withdrawal. To this day Nasva is quarantined.
