Operating largely out of the Jusadih System, the Ensaari Coalition of Free Traders, more often referred to as Ensaari Free Traders or simply the Free Traders, are a smuggling outfit comprised of several members. Operating a number of freighters and crews, they call the modified Action VI transport Nomad their home and rally behind their aging but enigmatic leader, Tyber Vorrac.

Though Lanek Ensaari himself died many years ago, the Free Traders survive. They employ many colorful personalities and unique individuals. United by the bonds of freedom, the call of the coin, the knowledge of space, and the strange honor that appears among thieves, they skate along the edges of legality and morality. While new smugglers join the Free Traders every few months and smugglers are caught or killed from time to time, they all work toward a common goal and operate as a team.

Hailing from the planet Commenor, Tyber Vorrac has been a smuggler for essentially his entire life. Born with a strong connection to the Force, he was hidden from Jedi eyes by his parents and managed to avoid all forms of Force training throughout the following years. Though he has moved about from planet to planet, he has never called anywhere but his ship home. Currently, he pilots the Little Jev, a ship named after Jev Brokkol - the illegitimate child he conceived in an affair with Coruscanti businesswoman Karina Brokkol. After finding out through outside sources that the child had apparently been kidnapped soon after his birth and never seen again, Tyber found closure after a period of depression by naming his ship after the boy he never got to raise.

Tyber joined Lanek Ensaari, founder of the Free Traders, in 31 BBY and was in fact one of the group's founders. When the Empire rose and began imposing strict fines on smugglers, Tyber was one of the first to go rebel, even before Ensaari himself. After the death of Ensaari in 2 BBY, he served time on an Imperial prison barge before the fall of the New Order and rise of the New Republic. Years later, while independently smuggling, he brought together new faces and old survivors alike to reform the Free Traders, keeping the name of their original founder while chartering a course for new systems and purchasing the Nomad.

It was several years later, in 30 ABY, that the Free Traders entered Jusadih at Tyber's bidding. There, he sought business from the JIC, the Grardella Syndicate, and other private contracts. Happenstance led him to discover a man with his eyes, his near-unique skin condition, his name, and a stunning resemblance to Karina Brokkol. Soon after, the man - Kal Vorrac - became the system's iron-fisted ruler, and his age was leaked to Tyber.

It corresponded a little too closely to that of Jev; Vorrac had found a new reason to stay in the Deep Core system.

• Tyber Vorrac has been Kal's father in his backstory for years - only recently has he been made an NPC of Plagueis.
• The smugglers of the Ensaari Coalition of Free Traders were created by Sarak Shai, Aedile of Plagueis, along with help from assistants and advisors in Plagueis for the House's new storyline.
• The Free Traders will never utilize a YT-1300 freighter without an exceptionally good reason, such as exceptional competition-winning content - Han Solo deserves no less.
