Drae'lath Rahath

I have seen and done things, that would make anybody sick and disgusted with me, and it's not that I don't care, it's that I can't. - Drae'lath confiding to Vinga.

Originally born as Lucius Sevra, now Drae'lath Rahath, is currently a mid-ranking Journeymen in the Dark Brotherhood, serving under Master Aul Celsus, both of Clan Naga Sadow, of House Shar Dakhan. Character History

Childhood (205 BBY)

Born in 205 BBY aboard the freighter ship Recluse, Drae'lath was born and raised by 2 mercenaries. His Father, Vontiand, was a former soldier for his home planet, becoming a security officer of the Judicial Forces of the Republic, turned pirate for some time before being a dockworker, and finally returning to his pirate ways, posing as a bodyguard to his wife, Cenia.

His Mother, Cenia, herself, is an illegitimate daughter to a handmaiden and a former Count of the Royal Court of Onderon, whose name was lost to history. Cenia became a master thief, capitalizing on her skills as a splicer, taking large sums of credits from any trading corporation foolish enough to take her. Her largest and most dangerous 'job' was when she posed as a technician inside of a trade corporation, and soon incurred it's disfavor, because was discovered as being the one that inserted a data spike into the mainframe of one of their computers at the Corporatio's HQ. A virus would than upload itself and make large amounts of credit to be deposited to charities across the Republic, not knowing that the charities were fronts, created by Vonitand, and that the deposits were made in the name of high-ranking members of the corporation. Her finally "thumb-up" her latest victim corporation was the purchase of 3 freighter ships, a purchase of various droids, adding up to the size of a platoon, and a series of other purchases all done on the corporation's discretionary spending accounts. Finally returning to Vontiand running back into Wild Space.

After freezing themselves in Carbon yet again, they planned their new identities and sought out to become legitimate security contractors after Vontiand became injured trying to flee Judicial Forces. Working on their own, traveling across the Known Galaxy, and, being unable to resist occasionally doing a few pirate raids posing as the stranded ship in need of assistance, which had gave them the attention of Republic yet again, leading them to back into carbon storage for another few years. Soon after resting on Onderon for a few years, the usual medical scan by their one of their medical droids surprised both Cenia and Vonitand that she was pregnant with a boy. Fearing what would happen their son, should they be found and taken under arrest, they took everything they could from Onderon, placed it into the freighter ships and fled into the Outer Rim.

Early Life

Parent's Life

Drae'lath's parents themselves being Force-Sensitive, were students at the Jedi Temple, becoming Knights. Around 210 BBY, they were removed from the Jedi Temple when the Council found out about their relationship. After finding out about Cenia's pregnancy, Vontiand called in a few favours from a few sympathetic friends they made during their time in the Jedi Temple. These friends had allowed Vontiand and Cenia to acquire some copies of training holovids and lectures so they may be able to teach their child the ways of the Jedi. Of course, Drae'lath's parents didn't want their child to be an emotionless Jedi like their old friends, but they also didn't want their child to have no control over his Force abilities.

Family Life

Family life was one of seclusion. Not total isolation, but traveling across the Republic, planet to planet, with parents working as security contractors, both cyber and armed. He only had the series of protocol droids, that his mother Cenia had procured before leaving a trade corporation, to keep him company. What was always exciting towards Drae'lath was the stories and holovids that harkon back to the days where words like Honour, Loyalty, and Duty, actually had meaning and were used to define a person's character, and not the size of their bank accounts. Using the many protocol droids he had, Drae'lath became self-taught in the ways of the warrior monk. When he wasn't studying in ethics, philosophy, and morals, he was learning the ins and outs of being of Nobility from his mother and her droids, and combat from his Father and his.

Pre-Clone Wars

20 years before the beginning of the Clone Wars, Drae'lath and his parents were living their lives in relative comfort on the planet Onderon. Tiny whispers about session from both of the King, from the Republic itself, and the possible affiliation with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, began to spread. This brought not just unwanted attention towards the planet, but also the threat of a military invasion by the Republic. This fear caused them to once again flee back into space around 39 BBY. This time, they would run away with something that had never imagine: a stowaway. Katrea, a small human, younger to Drae'lath only by 3 years, found lurking about near the ship and hiding in the cargo of the 3rd ship. This stowaway was detected by a scan, and was soon accepted by both Cenia and Vontiand with haste. This choice gave Cenia the chance to have a daughter for her to care. But the Separatist Crisis gave them no chance to acquire more credits, nor the ability to settle another planet without being subjected to background checks.

Death Strikes

His True Love

Katrea Nataly was Drae'lath's first instance with human interaction outside of the family. His parents were hardly ever home, and he was always kept in good company by his parents' droids. The time spent with Katrea gave Drae'lath the pleasure he had long for: Companionship. During their time together, Drae'lath and Katrea grew close. katrea enjoyed, as did Drae'lath, being showed his way of seeing the world and how he interpreted reality. She saw him as a wise sage, and a great friend, enjoying there time spent learning to fight, and learning about the galaxy at large.

Katrea, herself someone who had lost her family during the Stark Hyperspace War, was little more than a servant girl, treated horribly by the common people, just as she was by the nobles. The threat of a war just as concerning to her. This would mean hiding away, this time with someone she can trust, or to be fair, someone she was forced to trust. After some time prior to the first Battle of Genosis, she came to see Drae'lath as family and would not let the threat of war, nor an army of either clones and droids take him away from her.

When they were traveling, Drae'lath would keep dodging Katrea's attempts to learn about his past. The Battle of Genosis would force Dra'lath to reconsider entering Carbon Stasis once more. The death of his parent's malfunctioning pods deeply scarred him and would often do everything to avoid the section of the 3rd ship that held that pods. This fear, however, was something that Drae'lath didn't have the time to consider. He had to face his fear of death and re-enter his Carbon freezing pod and back into sleep once more. Unbeknownst to him, Katrea, out of curiosity, would lie to Drae'lath about joining him, and when he entered, she did not. Drae'lath's parents took Katrea away from a squalor-riddled alley street on Onderon. They gave her a new life. This code cylinder gave her access to some old holofiles and holovids. She would spend the next 3 years keeping up with the progression of the Clone Wars and reading the files she had access to, and the ones she access using Drae'lath's code cylinder, Something she took from his clothes after he entered stasis.

Clone Wars

Upon hearing about the Clone Wars, and of the Clone Army, Drae'lath found the idea of a clone army as disturbing. Seeing them as nothing more than slaves willing to die for a government Drae'lath thought, saw these soldiers as nothing more than meat shields and cannon fodder. He needed to protect his ships and Katrea from both the Republic and the Confederacy.

Sith Influence

Vontiand had received many copies of Jedi training holovids and lectures of the Force for his son, Drae'lath to study. Unbeknownst to Vontiand, one of his friends, a young and outspoken Zabrak Jedi Padawan by the name of Sagor, was secretly tainted by Sith teachings and corrupted a holovid that appeared to be Jedi teachings, but were instead Sith. This was the first step towards Drae'lath's slow turning from Jedi alignment to Sith.

This was but a sample of what was to come later on. During his years as an Imperial Agent, Drae'lath met a lowly Sith apprentice named Shorallash Ilya

Military Career

Stormtrooper Corps

I fear no fear, for I am fear incarnate

Drae'lath Rahath was seen as driven in his attempts to complete the mission, as he was seen as cruel and merciless. This did not stop him, however, from rising through the ranks and showing his superiority as both a soldier and a proven leader. Earning him quite the nickname of 'Hound,' or 'Dog,' to those that wished to demean him. His skills has led him to be unable to see others eye-to-eye, but a higher ranking officer would often call Drae'lath to sit amongst his company to get his opinion on an upcoming mission, or to ask of him if there was any conflict that would cause division and dissident within the ranks. This man was an officer within Imperial Intelligence, known as Colonel Kasaroc

Imperial Intelligence

In all my years of service, if there is one thing I've learned, Captain. It's that the closer you let someone get to you, the less time you have to react when they slip their blade into your spine. - Colonel Kasaroc giving advice to the idealistic Captain Drae'lath

After a few successful plans drawn up by the Captain during both the Rlyoth Insurgency and the Devaronian Uprising, he was sent to Imperial Intelligence where he would travel across the Empire and inform on the activities of many noble heads, their families, and military officers, for many were under the suspicion of treason. Since being in Imperial Intelligence, Drae'lath's actions and battle reports, even those during his time in the Army and Stormtrooper Corps, have been sealed. After the Empire's fall, Drae'lath gathered what ever files he could and has been releasing them for the members of Clan Naga Sadow to see. He has no secrets to hide, and will bear his shame with pride.
