NPCs

Is a member allowed to a place a dead non-player character in this category? I figured I should ask before changing anything if it's not okay. --Ronovi Tavisaen 18:40, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I don't think so. As it stands, this is only a player character catagory, and the majority of NPCs that die are less than important. Perhaps a Deceased NPC category for DB-important NPCs might make more sense. - Archangel 19:19, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I was actually thinking of creating a "Dead Character" template like the maintenance templates to put on pages to make it easily recognizable. But for now you can place an NPC in here... a second category serves no real purpose. --Shadow Taldrya 19:25, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

Keeping NPC pages which have no real bearing on the DB as a whole would serve no real purpose. And to clutter a list of real characters with NPCs would only lead to confusion. - Archangel 19:30, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I'd honestly only put NPC's that have been involved with the DJB's plot updates and such. Fremoc, Fist of the Brotherhood 19:32, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I really fail to see the problem of all NPCs being placed there. Many NPCs do contribute to DB and unit lore, and the fact that we can just click on the page and see what color the character template is cancels out any alleged "confusion." Also, very risky business deciding which NPCs are important and which aren't, as every NPC is important to at least one member and that means a lot. Just my opinion. --Ronovi Tavisaen 19:34, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
