Galactic Empire

The Blades of Kun were a group of twenty highly trained assassins loyal to Emperor Palpatine. They were some of the best at their jobs, and were even taught some minor dark side lore by Darth Sidious.

Normally stationed on the Death Star I, they had been away on a mission to Corellia when the super weapon was destroyed. Afterwards, they spent almost all of their time running missions for the Emperor, and after his death the group went into exile on the planet Byss, knowing they would be killed otherwise.

Exile

Gilad Pellaeon, leader of the Imperial Remnant, exiled the assassins from Remnant space, and even attempted to have them killed, but failed as they once again escaped. Banished from a large portion of the galaxy, they were constantly running from Rebels and what remained of the Empire, skipping from planet to planet. Within five years, the group of twenty was cut down to seven.

One day, they were approached in a cantina by a cloaked figure that only represented himself by the title "Master". He offered them a job to take out a droid bounty hunter that had been killing businessmen. He promised them honor and a life in the New Republic. They took the job, but did not realize just what they were getting into.

Antei

The cloaked figure pointed them towards the Antei System, to the main planet of Antei where the droid was supposedly hiding. Once there, however, a group of Dark Jedi quickly captured them. They should discovered what had happened, seeing that they had been captured by the same man who recruited them, and were shipped off to the Shadow Academy on Lyspair.

Here they trained to be Dark Jedi, and were eventually transferred to Clan Exar Kun, where they formed a battle team of highly trained warriors. Over time, these seven passed on, but they left a legacy that would forever be remembered in the form of a battle team. Even after the merger and creation of Clan Plagueis, Blades of Kun was kept as a battle team of House Exar Kun, and showed its glory time after time.

Dissolved

During the Seventh Great Jedi War, however, the Blades of Kun were some of the front line space pilots for the forces behind the Red Jac. During the conflict, the team suffered great losses, and by the time they returned to House Exar Kun the assault of Diadem Fortress by the Aerunians all but destroyed what was left of the team.

Seeing desperation, the house summit decided it best to close the team until they could return to their former glory. Those that remained were shifted to the houses' other team, Exar's Shadow, and eventually the team was all but forgotten, but nonetheless still awaits its return.

Note: While the battle team was briefly reopened shortly before the Seventh Great Jedi War, it was once again closed due to inactivity.
