Clan Arcona Diplomatic Relations and Embassy Services (CADRES)
The Clan Arcona Diplomatic Relations and Embassy Services organization is the team within Clan Arcona devoted to improving diplomatic relations with the clan's galactic neighbors, interacting with various governmental bodies on behalf of Clan Arcona, and providing training and foreign aid relief to those in need of it.
There are swirling rumors that CADRES is somehow tied to the Dajorran Intelligence Agency and that sometimes the diplomatic access afforded to CADRES is utilized for somehow nefarious or otherwise less-than-benevolent activities, but the Director General vehemently denies these claims and offers assurance that the sole purpose of CADRES is the establishment and improving of relations with the Clan’s galactic neighbors. They clearly would not jeopardize the mission of the entire organization just to gain the upper hand in potential negotiations or conflict…

The Director General of CADRES oversees the operation of the entire organization, handling governmental relations with the Dajorran Confederacy, keeping the Clan Arcona Summit apprised of diplomatic developments CADRES is pursuing, and securing funding for CADRES operations.
The organization itself is separated into three branches, each one having its own structure and focused on one of the primary purposes of CADRES.
The Diplomatic Relations branch is headed by the Chief Diplomat of CADRES, who oversees the deployment of diplomats to open relations with foreign powers, negotiate treaties and agreements, and undertake general diplomatic missions. Each assigned mission is overseen by a Diplomat who is supported by a Diplomatic Attache and a number of Diplomatic Staff of various specialties as applicable to the nature of the diplomatic mission.
The Foreign Aid branch is headed by the Secretary of Foreign Aid who handles the disbursement of resources in response to aid requests, arranges contracts to obtain the necessary supplies for disbursement, and oversees development of programs for education and training. Each Foreign Aid mission is managed by a Foreign Aid Representative who works with a Foreign Aid Specialist, typically the Representative being an expert on the culture being aided while the Specialist’s expertise lies in the type of aid being given. Both on the scene of the mission and behind-the-scenes the Foreign Aid branch is supported by Foreign Aid Staff.
The Embassy Service division is headed by the Ambassador General and is focused on the establishment, maintenance, and operation of permanent diplomatic stations outside of Arconan space. Each Embassy is the responsibility of an appointed Ambassador, with many tasks also being handled by their Deputy. Much of the day-to-day operation of the Embassy itself is taken care of by the Embassy Staff assigned to that post.
Assets
CADRES Headquarters: Currently under construction in Estle City on Selen, primarily serves as offices for the processing of diplomatic paperwork, logistics planning, and interaction with other government entities of Dajorra such as the Confederacy.
CADRES Flagship: This yet-to-be-christened Endurance-class Fleet Carrier flies under the markings of a diplomatic vessel, usually used for either first contact situations or for important diplomatic showcases; in all practicality it functions as the real HQ for CADRES, since it is quite important for the sake of visibility that the “open hand” of Arconan diplomacy always be extended and on-the-job somewhere.
Additional Fleet
Two additional Cosinga-class Heavy Corvettes specializing in “second contact” situations; the establishment of logistics and practicalities of diplomatic and trade agreements discussed during first contact, fulfilling the first obligations established during first contact meetings, and operating as backup first contact vessels when there are multiple situations occurring at times which would be difficult or impossible for the flagship to make them all.
A number of diplomatic shuttles are used for ongoing meetings and negotiations, transport of ambassadors, representatives, and embassy staff, and other associated personnel movement
A variety of transport ships operate within CADRES for different situations in order to transport diplomatic supplies, foreign aid shipments, and other materials as needed by the agreements established by CADRES.
