Tslotha Garnath was a Zabrak Sith and member of the True Brotherhood. He was one of the original founding triumvirate together with Severak and Severina. Tslotha was killed during the attack on the True Brotherhood base on Kangaras by forces from Clan Naga Sadow in 24 ABY.

Early Days

He was a Jedi Knight of the Old Republic and was respected for his calm quiet manner and excellent saber skills, having studied many of the forms and quickly became regarded as an adept user. Though never one to put himself forward he readily accepted any task by the Council and carried them out with calm and confidence. He fought bravely during the Clone Wars behind enemy lines working well with the Clone Troopers and was credited for several major covert successes against the separatists. He took this all in his stride without comment and shrugged off any praise received.

Tslotha was away from Coruscant when the Jedi Purge began, and though attacked by the commando team he was assigned to he overcame them without much difficulty. With reports coming in of Jedi being slain over the galaxy he was unable to contact any of the remaining Jedi Council members and decided to find a quiet place to hide out and observe the situation. He traveled through remote parts of the galaxy, constantly moving to avoid detection and eventually ended up on the remote world of Kangaras. Heading cautiously for the only settlement he was detected and ambushed by Severak. Recognizing him as a Sith and assuming he was somehow connected with the Jedi purge, Tslotha fought Severak, his superior saber skills initially gaining an advantage over the Sith Lord. However Severak's studies of the Dark Side eventually triumphed and Tslotha was grievously injured. Severak took the Jedi back to Usharak Keep and Severina healed him, and in the process Severina infiltrated and corrupted the zabrak's mind, eventually turning him to the dark side.

The True Brotherhood

While Severak and Severina plotted against Palpatine and built their strength he acted as their agent, going out into the Galaxy removing any perceived threats and recruiting targeted force potentials, either willingly or by force. He was also the combat trainer of the growing True Brotherhood, teaching his saber skills to people like Agrist, Mrussk and his son Imgaril Garnath, the latter being the result with a brief liaison with a female zabrak student in the early days who died in childbirth. Like he had as a Jedi, Tslotha performed all of his duties with the same quiet reservation and competence that earned him the respect and fear of the other True Brotherhood members. His combat and reconnaissance abilities that he was able to pass on to his students was a great asset to Severak and his followers.

Tslotha was on Kanagras when the Clan Naga Sadow members invaded and Severak sent him to lead the defense of Usharak Keep. He fought, easily overcame and nearly killed the recently knighted Malisane de Ath, and then unfortunately, for him at least, he met a superior saberist in the form of Antei Combat Center Champion and future Grandmaster Muz Ashen, and he was slain. Following the fall of Kangaras while Severak was privately criticised by the remaining True Brotherhood members, Tslotha became an inspiration to all of them and was still highly regarded after his death up to the Brotherhood's final defeat at Orian.
