The Greasy Hydrospanner is a cantina located in the hydroponics facility underneath the city of Seng Karash on Aeotheran. Officially recognised as a disused storage hold, the Hydrospanner is frequented by Orian's underworld elements. The warehouse the cantina was established in was originally utilised as a meeting spot for illegal traffickers during the Vong War who were trying to smuggle in refugees into the city from the "tent city" outside the main city walls. Over time, as the locale became more well known by the seedier elements of Seng Karash, the Hydrospanner was set up.
Getting to the Hydrospanner is itself a challenge. The underground hydroponics facility, sometimes colloquially coined the "undercity" by criminals, was never constructed for the use of organics. Aside from a small handful of administrators, the hydroponics facility is entirely run by droids and other machines, and the corridors were only designed for use by the automated trams. As a result, it is not unusual to hear of deaths when the uninitiated try to run the gauntlet of the underground tram corridors to reach the Hydrospanner—only to get crushed. More often, the main access route into and out of the Hydrospanner is by way of the basement of one of the factories in the Industrial District; in general, this means only those who are invited to visit the Hydrospanner make it there without becoming another splattered stain underneath the tram.
