History
Zuglaq began life as one of the Sith-spawned Ewoks residing on the planet Kangaras. During the investigation of the ruins on Kangaras, he was in one of the scout teams led by Urtag. Zuglaq came upon the ruins of the ancient temple which were seething with dark Side energy, and the forces reacted with the chemicals flowing in his Sith-twisted body. As many creatures corrupted by the Dark Side often discover latent Force-sensitivity, this was no exception. His tribe subsequently exiled him for being "unclean", and the Ewok was noticed by Macron. The insane alchemist considers all the Sith-spawned ewoks to be his "experimental subjects" and feels some modicum of fondness for them. Zuglaq was taken off planet and follows Macron about with misguided loyalty.
Notes
Zuglaq is something of an experiment to the alchemist. Although he does possess latent Force sensitivity as a result of the alchemical process that modified his body, the Ewok will never be a great user of the Force. His current ability is approximately equal to that of an Proselyte, and will never progress beyond that of a Protector.
