Consul's FistThe "Consul's Fist" was the step up from the Consul's Honor Guard. One member from the ranks of the Cohors Praetoria Taldryae served for a term of 3 months. During this time he or she would serve as an extension of the Consul's will across the Brotherhood. Rarely exercising his power directly, the Fist would more often use subterfuge and backchannels to deal with the Consul's problems. However when it was necessary he could unleash his deadly potential in the name of Taldryan. Much as former guard members never completely lost their title, former Fist's would always remain in the Consul's service in some manner. Following the Yuuzhan Vong Incursion Consul Duga Taldrya Arkarso dissolved the guard and the Consul's Fist while announcing a new elite unit to come.
