Arack Tavar is a young Dark Jedi of the First Clan. Unlike most Shadow Jedi, Arack was born Sith, to a Dark Jedi Equite and his military liasion officer wife in 11 ABY in Estle City. From birth, Arack was trained in the Dark Arts while learning military values from his mother. At the age of 18, Arack was deemed ready to join the formal ranks of Clan Arcona and given the name of Synovus by his father; however Tavar swore never to use the name till he had earned it in the eyes of Arcona. The native is now at the age of 20, holding the rank of Acolyte with the public cover of a Second Lieutenant in the Arconan Armed Forces. For a reason he will not discuss, Arack picked up an addiction to pazaak and often fluctuates with his funds.

Dark Jedi Rank Robes - Robes of rank are often seen as the unofficial, but still important, uniform of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. The robes are the usual attire of Arack Tavar when not in combat scenarios. As a younger Journeyman, Arack's robes are light black with a darker shade overcloak and hood. The under-robes consist of a tunic, trousers, standard issue combat boots, and skin-tight gloves. Besides the color of the robes (they get darker in color as ones rank increases) an appropriate number of flashes in the respective Order color are used to denote rank on either shoulder. For example, Arack is an Obelisk Acolyte, so on his shoulders are three blue flashes.
