Vessel Info

The 700-meter-long Majestic-class Heavy Cruiser is a powerful warship built under the New Republic's New Class Modernization Program. With a large assortment of weapons these ships are capable of engaging both enemy capital ships and starfighters. They are incredibly durable; their thick armor and shields were equal to the previous generation of Imperial-class Star Destroyers.

Although they are much smaller than Imperial-class Star Destroyers with less heavy guns, the Majestic-class was designed to be able to go one-on-one with Star Destroyers. The main reason for this was a vastly improved gunnery system allowing them to hit targets more accurately at longer distances, add in the ships increased speed and maneuverability and that would allow them to keep enemies from closing in too far.

History

A traditional compulsor is a person who enforces the law of his superior, and as such the Majestic Cruiser earned the right to use this title. With its powerful weapons and long range weaponry this ship can enforce the will of Taldryan's Leader, Ood Bnar, with lethal efficiency. The Compulsor came into the possession of Taldryan following the Vong Incursion and is part of Battlegroup Vanguard.

Complement & Assignment

The Compulsor is assigned to Taldryan's Battlegroup II, and is home to the Battlegroup's Executive Officer.
