Feel the Force was an Obelisk Rite of Supremacy that took place during the reign of Sharad Taldrya Hett. The Rite was an Obelisk-wide training event to teach members the art of both lightsaber mastery and Force-based combat.
A young combatant hefted his lightsaber up and flicked on the blade, a sense of wonder overcoming him. The saber was so elegant and gorgeous. How could a Jedi master the force in such a way to be able to use this small sword-like weapon to block blaster bolts faster than the eye can see? The young apprentice walked down the corridors of the Academy glad to be given a chance to fulfill his dreams of becoming a Jedi. He knew that the journey would be tough, but he was confident that he would succeed and he was ready for the task.
History
When Sharad Taldrya Hett took command of the Order after Warlord Rizlib, the Obelisk houses were in a state of non-existance. For too long they had been forsaken for the Sith and Krath, that many had given up and allowed their skills to grow lax. To draw new life into the Order, Sharad created a Rite of Supremacy known as Feel the Force. It was a massive training operation designed to force the collective Obelisk Houses to battle with one another and rekindle their love of warfare.
The gambit paid off, and after a month of warring, the Obelisk were back to their former selves. Powerful, vindictive, and built for war. For their efforts, the top placing Houses earned titles of honor. House Dinaari was named First House of the Obelisk, House Kirleta was named Second House of the Obelisk, and House Cestus was named the Third House of the Obelisk.
