| Derived from a bloodline of royal lineage, the monarchy is comprised of successors and precursors from the Anasaye line of heirs to the Astral Throne. The firstborn of the ruling monarch traditionally inherits the throne after the death of its precursor, or in rare cases, when the former monarch retires from the Astral Throne. While this has provided a clear line of succession for centuries, firstborn twins are a troublesome burden to the line of succession and has resulted in at least one instance where the heir was left unclear.
