According to family records dating back to roughly 500 BBY the House of Steiner was founded by Khaos Steiner, the first individual to take the name of Steiner. Khaos started off working in an industrial workshop building parts for starships and living in the alley behind the planet he worked in, unable to pay for a suitable apartment. In 474 BBY Khaos moved from laborer to the underground world, beginning to world for a syndicate underlord by the name of Ruks. Dealing in small assassinations of politics members of the Corellia government to sabotaging industrial planets Khaos proved to be resourceful in his tasks.
Within four years of working with In 470 BBY Ruks came to Khaos and told him he had a special mission for him.
