- "The truth is a virus."
- ―Faethor
Many historical records of the man known as Faethor were lost years ago. Faethor, also known as Chi-Long, was the eleventh Grand Master of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and a the first Consul of Clan Plagueis. Some time after 25 ABY, Faethor sought redemption and turned to the Light Side of the Force, becoming a member of the New Jedi Order.
Faethor was killed during the Horizons event, gunned down by soldiers at the Dragon's Graveyard on Kapsina in the Jusadih System, in 30 ABY. He had been infected by the Horizon plague, which stripped him of his Force powers and rendered him helpless to the massive gun attacks. He was buried by those who had killed him at the spot where he had died.
