House Bane was once one of three houses in the newly formed Clan Plagueis. Almost a year after its creation, however, it was closed due to inactivity, and its members were moved to either House Exar Kun or House Satal Keto. It was named after the Sith Lord Darth Bane.

Due to the fact that the house was only open for a short while, it never had a complete history written, nor much of anything else. It is known, though, that the house was based primarily on House Byss, containing much of the same members. When it was closed, members were moved to either of the clan's other two houses.

There was one Battleteam in House Bane, known as Heretics of Bane. While open, it had only one commander, Scorpius.
