3rd Battalion, or 3/71 was an armored field artillery battalion in the service of the Army of the Iron Throne. It was one of four (4) field artillery battalions in the 13th Starborne Division and served under II Legion, supported by Task Force 62 as part of Joint Task Force Rancor.

The battalion was formed in 27 ABY as part of the Dark Council's military reformation following the Battle of Antei.
