==Artillery Infantry==

The Artillery Infantry Brigade’s sole job is to protect the 36 SPHA Walkers assigned to clan Arcona. As there are only a few SPHA walkers, they have been assigned to the highest priority planets as a defense force and mobile SAM site for larger landing ships. If deployed quickly enough, they can be devastating to enemy troop ships.

History

The Artillery Infantry units first saw action during the Defense of the citadel, where they saved the entire planet from destruction by breaking up the downed Vong Destroyer before it impacted with the planet. They did this by concentrating on a structural weakpoint at extreme range. Fortunately, enough of the coral-made ship fractured that it wasn’t enough to crack the crust of Selen. Unfortunately, the two brigades suffered heavy losses in the ensuing invasion.

Deployment

Like the Armoured Infantry, the Artillery Infantry has been concentrated on Eldar and Selen, however the two brigades are often swapped to make sure that the troops maintain the necessary skill sets to work in the wild as well as in urban environments.

Equipment

The Artillery Infantry are equipped identically to the Armoured infantry in that they both replace the E-Web and Mortar units with engineer units to help maintain the walkers.
