- "Bereave man. Know thy own shame."
- ―Zasati Tryezsh
Zasati Tryezsh is a Jedi Hunter in the House Ektrosis of Clan Taldryan.
1 ABY - 15 ABY
Zasati was born in the capital city, Dimitor, of the planet Gallinore in the Transitory Mists of the Hapes Cluster in the 5th month of 1 ABY. Her mother, Tryezsha’lin Danidual, was the lead researcher of the Firedrake Project and her father, Zu’tatim Osechal, was her mother’s assistant. She had a younger sister named Zulmita Tryezsh. The young Hapan had a relatively normal childhood- her family was well off and she was content. She was raised with strong Haperian values, believing that males were the lesser sex and that no one- not even family- should ever get in the way of one's rise to power.
During her 14th year, Zasati joined her parent's profession, collecting specimens out in city's surrounding rainforest. Research was generally considered a dangerous career both in part to the planet's dangerous flora and fauna as well as the dense ground coverage that so many vagabonds enjoyed making camp in.
15 ABY – 21 ABY
As it happened, on one mist-heavy morning, Zasati was trekking to monitor a specimen hive when she found herself lost. Much to her chagrin, she was seized by a pirate gang known as the Ki’notas. Despite all of her efforts, they departed her home planet with her as their prize.
Eventually, she did manage to make herself useful the mercenaries. Rather than being sold to the highest bidder at a slave market, they kept her aboard as a servant for themselves. Zasati bitterly preformed the tasks they deemed 'womanly', and prayed that she would someday find her way back home. That final hope was soon dashed when the leader of the gang decided to brand her as his thrall. He had his personal sigil, two twisted lines, tattooed on her left cheek, forever marking her as his property. The once proud Hapan, ashamed that she had fallen so far in disgrace quickly became hate-filled. For a Hapan to have such a mark was obscene and only brought disgrace. She knew she would never be accepted by her people again.
They spent several long years out in the Transitory Mists, pillaging any unsuspecting vessels that came by, surviving only on what they could pilfer. It wasn't until Nova Cruisers disbanded her group, that she was able to escape in a Life Pod and abandon the Hapes Cluster and her captors.
21 ABY - 28 ABY
By the time she turned 20, she had made her way to Skor II and begun her training in the art of the sword. Her master, a Squib trader named Tivsa and was, as most Squibs were, talented at deal-making. He taught the young Hapan the ways of haggling and salvaging. He also suggested that Zasati begin to wear a veil, teaching her that attention to her Mark of Ownership was not something she would enjoy.
In her later wanderings, she found that many unwanted annoyances could be avoided by the simple veil. A few years later she crossed paths with a young woman who told her of unseen powers that could restore her honor. Eager, she sought out these powers and found herself introduced to the Brotherhood.
DB History
Since Joining
Upon joining the Brotherhood, Zasati became an Obelisk, mostly because she found that neither the Sith or Krath Orders’ ideals suited her- nor did their representative color selections of red and purple appeal to her. (Though she would never admit that to anyone.) She felt much more suited to the way of the Obelisk and their flattering choice of blue.
Soon thereafter, Zasati Tryezsh was transferred into House Ektrosis, where she quickly became acquainted with a handful of its members. She passed five Shadow Academy courses, and eagerly began her advancement in the Brotherhood.
