TalSec Headquarters is located on a plateau in the Crystakk Mountain Range, where its isolated location can be put to good use for TalSec. The headquarters is a training and staging facility all in one, hosting four buildings surrounding a central pit with a tower in its center.
Facility Design
The central tower is the command post. Inside is a massive holoprojector complete with two rings of workstations that monitor activity all over Karufr, with the meeting and briefing room for TalSec's command staff directly underneath it. Together these two buildings form the nucleus from which the entirety of TalSec operates. This tower is built over a natural pit in the plateau, where the power station is built into. Bridges must be used to reach the central tower.
The north tower is the barracks. Three stories tall with the officer's quarters on the top level and enlisted personnel living on the first two. Despite the hundreds of personnel on the base, the standard of living is fairly high, with refreshers at the end of every hallway and recreation areas in the middle of every level complete with dejarik tables, monitors tuned to local sports such as shockball and games machines.
The east tower houses the hangar, which is the largest of the four towers ringing the base. Four stories tall and just as wide, this has four stories of repair and berthing facilities for starfighters, airspeeders and troop transports alike that TalSec calls upon for their missions.
The south tower is the training and study facility. Inside it are study and lecture halls, libraries, gym facilities and shooting ranges for TalSec members to hone their minds and their bodies. Most TalSec people stationed on base visit at least three times a week.
The west facility is actually not a tower but a small reproduction of a city. It is a fully-equipped live-fire training ground with obstacle courses and combat courses separated into four zones designed to push TalSec operatives to their limit in mock battles under all kinds of conditions. There is also an obstacle course beside it for testing recruits' skills.
The three outer towers house the defence weapons of the facility on their roof. Each of them are heavy weapons turrets, equipped with a quad laser cannon plus a concussion missile launcher in the middle, to defend against all threats to the base itself.
