| While I understand the desire for accuracy, I remember specifically there was an invitation by Orv when this was launched for members to piece together missing values (comments section of Muz's post regarding its release). Now, I don't mean to be a pain but if we aren't allowed to be adding witnessed values; then why hasn't there been some kind formula released by the SCL staff in its place to give some reference while keeping to wiki standards? --[[User: Raiju|Raiju]] 04:57, 13 December 2011 (UTC) | | While I understand the desire for accuracy, I remember specifically there was an invitation by Orv when this was launched for members to piece together missing values (comments section of Muz's post regarding its release). | | :Orv was just saying that to keep people from constantly questioning things. If we're going to add information to the wiki it needs to be accurate. If people wanted to start up a "lets figure out prestige" thing it would work better on the forums. As to why they want to keep it under wraps? I couldn't say. Probably to prevent people from bitching about why this or that medal should be worth more or less to suit their own needs. But that's just a guess. --[[User:Shadow Taldrya|Shadow Taldrya]] 05:12, 13 December 2011 (UTC) |

Prestige for Medals
Because the formula is hidden and fairly complex, please refrain from adding "guestimates" for medal prestige. Though a singe medal may seem like it's worth x amount of points, add-ons also factor in and change the overall value making it impossible to be accurate just by guessing. --Shadow Taldrya 02:00, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

While I understand the desire for accuracy, I remember specifically there was an invitation by Orv when this was launched for members to piece together missing values (comments section of Muz's post regarding its release). - Orv was just saying that to keep people from constantly questioning things. If we're going to add information to the wiki it needs to be accurate. If people wanted to start up a "lets figure out prestige" thing it would work better on the forums. As to why they want to keep it under wraps? I couldn't say.
