Major Garax Levayne is the Executive Officer of the 2nd Antenora Regiment under the direct command of Koryn Thraagus in times of war. When not at war, Levayne takes command of the Regiment and trains the troops for any potential attack. Joining the New Republic Army at the age of 16, Levayne rose up the ranks before joining the Scholae Palatinae Legions.
History
Garax Levayne was born in 9 ABY on Dantooine to a poor farming family. His father wanted him to take over the farm when he was old enough. But Garax never considered himself a farmer; the work bored him immensely. He frequently argued with his father on the matter, insisting that his younger brother should take over.
At the age of 16, Garax ran away from his family and enlisted in the New Republic Army. He served in the Galactic Alliance Special Forces for 3 years. He rose quickly through the ranks but felt that his talents were unappreciated and went AWOL in 29 ABY.
Garax found his way to Antenora and joined the 2nd Antenora Regiment. Shortly after joining the Regiment, Garax single-handedly took out an entire regiment of Yuuzhan Vong troops after seeing his allies killed by their hands. This caught the attention of his superiors and he rose through the ranks to Major.
Upon gaining the rank of Major, he was assigned as Executive Officer of the Regiment, serving under the direct command of Koryn Thraagus during times of war.
Choice of Weapons
Garax modified his EE-3 carbine by switching it from the standard 3-round semi-automatic to a fully-automatic model. He has also fitted it with a chamber to allow for an increased shot capacity.
As the DC-15s does not run out of ammunition, Garax feels it is the best choice of firearm. Although it does not excel at rate of fire or damage, Garax feels that dual-wielding it gives him a significant advantage.
