Wyndell Tyris, more commonly known as "Wyn" or sometimes "Stop that", among his many honorifics, is a human male Force Disciple, Elder "Prophet", and a Defender loyal to his family and friends above all else.

Dossier Profile

Patented "Finger Guns"

Wyndell's roguish, attractive visage comes from a combination of his smooth skin, angular features, friendly smile, and inquisitive green eyes. He has jet-black hair that is kept long and luscious and tied back into a tail that either rests over one shoulder.

His slender build is lean and trim with no noticeable bulk and little in the way of body fat. He lacks any noticeable scars or tattoos.

His typical preferred attire is a green v-neck shirt tucked into dark slacks, with a dark jacket with green accents on the shoulders.

He is rarely seen without the cross-hip holster that holds his twin blaster pistols, Dexter and Doakes (The Double D's)

Background

Raised by an abusive and manipulative father who took him away from his dying mother. Eventually, he would break free and forge his own path.

At first, things weren't all that bad, though. He was born to a "happy" set of parents and spent a lot of time with his mother, doing the typical things that typical infants did. Wyn's mother raised him mostly alone, as his father was always traveling or "on a job". He provided for them, and Wyn was never want for material possessions. He was educated, and immediately fell in love with performance and theater, learning as many instruments as he could, taking vocal lessons, and trying out for every part in the local stage plays, even if he knew he wasn't the right fit for the role.

Rodrgiue Tyris

His father, of course, did not wholly approve of Wyn's love for the stage. He wanted Wyn to focus more on his marksmanship, and, as he was slowly coming into his abilities within the Force, his gift for crafting illusions. Wyn tried his best to appease his father, but his mother obviously saw that his heart lied not on "the job" but performing for people and making them smile or laugh or cry. After an intense screaming fight, Rodrigue Tyris left, and did not return for months. During that time, Wyn's mother grew sick and he was forced to drop out of school to care for her. He had the money to pay for procedures, but the disease she had seemingly come down with a kind of mental degradation that the doctors could not cure with Bacta.

She died a few months later, when his father conveniently showed up to take the last of her will and to bring Wyn on the road with him. This began Wyn's true training the art of lying, deceiving, manipulation, and taking advantage of those who were not strong enough to defend themselves. He would not learn, until much later, that his mother had died as a result of something his father had done to her with the Force and his twisted variant of the Jedi Mind Trick.

Wyn's training had him pick up a lot of...interesting habits that would eventually manifest when he was on his own. He did not last long under his fathers tutelage, but learned a lot in the ways of harnessing the Force while also honing his marksmanship. He learned to pickpocket, lie, steal, and exploit.

Until he had enough.

Wyn managed to get away from his father after a traumatic experience where he "failed" a job that forced him to slaughter an innocent family he'd tried to save with his fathers lightsaber. It was during this stunt that Rodrigue revealed to Wyn that he had been the one to kill his mother.

So Wyn ran away, got as far from his father as he could. He became an urchin, living on the streets, working in bars and as a mercenary doing odd jobs no one else wanted to do. He made sure never to expose his identity or whereabout for fear of his father coming after him. Which helped him learn how to blend in and disguise himself.

Eventually, he was fortunate enough to take a job with the Brotherhood, that by the Force seemed to put him on a crash course to reuniting with his Brother. He was given a new home in Clan Arcona, and began a new chapter of his life that would ultimately lead him to a final encounter with his estranged father.

Envoy Work

Wyn has becoming a consistent contributor to the Envoy Corps with his free time outside of being a Dad. While it's easy to write this off as a privilege of being related to the current Exarch, Wyndell has proven himself as a Golden Envoy and was awarded the Golden Envoy Cowl

Quirks and Tells

Duh, Wynning
  • Wyn identifies as pansexual, and will often use the line "silverware beware".
  • Wyn was making Dad jokes before he was a father, but is often heard promising to "behave" as soon as someone tells him what a "have" is.
  • Wyn is a product of pop culture and tends to make references to esoteric things that lead people to often stare at him blankly and question.
  • Wyn has a unique sense of "value" to personal belongings and objects. He has some borderline kleptomaniac-like tendencies, but is generally harmless and tends to have a reason for why he trades someones gloves for a towel, because he needed a pair of gloves, and who didn't need a towel?
  • While Wyn has an almost annoyingly accurate affinity for blaster pistols, he refuses to use a lightsaber and tends to avoid melee combat as much as possible. While he is able to hold or carry a lightsaber for someone else, his hands will always start to shake and tremble if he holds one.
  • He has a tenor singing voice but can do a wide range of of high and low notes.
  • Considers himself a method-based actor who ermses himself in his disguises or roles rather than rely on improvisation or comedy.
  • Has a pet dragonsnake named Shenron that lives in the swamps of Uskil.

Family and Relationships

  • Brother of Marick Tyris Arconae.
  • Father to Turi.
  • Uncle to Kirra Aarave-Tyris and Weyne Tyris.
  • Brother-in-law to Atyiru.

Marick Tyris Arconae

Marick and Wyn are half-brothers. Their father, Rodrigue Tyris, was known for getting around the galaxy and conning his way into relationships in an effort to produce a true partner to help run his small criminal organization. So Wyn did not actually meet his brother until much later in life, when running into him during some freelance work for the Brotherhood while Marick was leading the Inquisitorius.

As they reconnected, they formed a friendship that grew over time, but hit a major snag when their father showed up to try and kidnap Marick and his newborn daughter. Wyn fought with the other Arconans to rescue Marick and defy their father, who ended up being sent to a maximum security prison to rot in isolation.

Now past those traumatic events, the brothers work to restore the Tyris name through their respective families and children. Despite busy schedules they work closely together more often than not, and share babysitting responsibilities.

Socorra

Wyndell and Socks happened to stumble into a relationship that neither seemed to be expecting. After an innocent trip to the theater sparked mutual interest, the two quickly formed what was probably the closest thing to a "normal" relationship that Wyn had ever had. They bonded over their mutual affinity for the holonet and pop culture among other attractions. Through the drama's of daily life in Dajorra and the Brotherhood's larger plots, they remained close. Among these obstacles was Socorra being kidnapped and replaced with a robot by the Children of Mortis. After heroically saving her, a series of events happened that could likely be listed among the various ways or moments that lead to a pregnancy.

While Wyn was initially nervous, thanks to having not a healthy or good relationship with his own father, he warmed up to the idea and prepared himself to be a father.

During a routine mission on Kashykk, Socorra went into labor with their child. Wyn worked with the local doctors to help birth the child, but fainted during the process. And thus: Turhaya Tyris was born (first of his name, heir to the finger-gun throne). Since that fateful moment, Wyndell dedicated his time and attention to being a good father.

But things would not remain so simple. With Socorra leaving Dajorra for Clan Vizsla, Wyn was not in a position to leave. This obviously put a strain on their relationship, which ultimately lead to them deciding to remain parents to Turi, but to take care of themselves, respectively.

It was determined that, for Turi's sake, he would keep the child for the times that Socorra was busy as the new Consul of Vizsla. They are still working out the rotation. But both are dedicated to being good parents to Turi and making sure he has everything he needs to grow up happy and healthy.

Friends

Alaisy

A lot of people, including his own brother, tend to not "get" Wyn. Alaisy, somehow, seemed to cut through his eccentric demeanor and simply saw him for who he was. She has never judged him for being himself, and somehow never seems to be bothered by his stunts or quirks. While it certainly helped that Wyn was able to prove himself resourceful to the Sith Alchemist, the two did make a powerful team when working together on missions. Most notably was the duo taking on a nest of mutated Rathtars during the SARLACC incident on Uskil.

For these reasons, Wyn might be one of the few people that doesn't "fear" Alaisy, mostly out of familiarity, but also out of a sense of professional trust in her intentions.

Zag

Wyn has a hard time keeping up with Zag's adventures, but remains a contact in her phone to potentially help out in a pinch.

Nejj

Nejj and Wyn are two forces of fun mixed with a dash of chaotically-stupid antics. They tend to sync very well in social situations and have a healthy respect for one another's...skillsets.
