Tuuka Vurr is a Mandalorian Weapon Specialist and is currently a member of Clan Vizsla.
Appearance
Tuuka is taller and more muscular than your average human. In his rise to middle age he has developed male pattern baldness to which he hides by completely shaving his head smooth every day with a straight razor. For what he lost on top of his head has seemed to slide down his face as the older he gets the darker and thicker his short, well kept beard gets. Hazel eyes sit behind a naturally straight and perfect nose, a feature one usually only attains through cosmetic surgery. His olive complexation changes with the system he inhabits most frequently, lighter, yellower skin for systems with less sunlight and darker, browner skin in warmer, brighter worlds.
When his skin gets darker it is much easier to distinguish the litany of scars on his hands and forearms from fights and laborious jobs. One scar marks the right side of his chin where his facial hair refuses to grow. If shirtless, you'll be able to see his tattoos, an eight pointed star on his left breast as well as a sleeve going down his right arm of the grim reaper rolling dice under a cloudy moonlit sky.
Character History
Brotherhood Entry
It was during his stint in Hutt Space that Tuuka and his brothers were given a bounty contract from the Hutt Cartel. The acquisition went by the name of Shimura Keibatsu, although recent information had suggested he had shed his surname. Unfortunately, the target was not able to be captured alive for the increased reward and the Hutt's found his death more than suitable, for some slight or offence occurred against them.
During the aftermath of the fight, Tuuka found a Sith Amulet wired into a gauntlet that he kept for himself, as well as a datapad. Upon investigation of its contents, Tuuka learned of the organization called the Dark Brotherhood and a stronghold of Mandalorians that resided under its protection. Among the files, were a series of correspondences to all Brotherhood members, an invitation to the Clans Summit in Canto Bight, Cantonica.
It was at this Summit in 40 ABY that Tuuka was contracted by Clan Vizsla to help escort Consul Korvis safely away from impending attackers. During the trip, Tuuka learned the extent of the Mandalorian presence. Upon this knowledge, Tuuka renounced his livelihood as a mercenary and joined Clan Vizsla's banner in defense of his Mandalorian brothers and sisters. In reward for his excellent service to Clan Vizsla as well as the sale of Shimura's latest plans, Tuuka was awarded an Amethyst Kukri by the Vizsla Summit. Not long after he would be selected by Exarch Marick Tyris Arconae to serve as one of his assistants during the reestablishment of the Exarch's office.
The Great Hunt VI: First Blood
With the introduction of Clan Fero and their attempt at a hostile takeover of Clan Vizsla, another plot revealed itself. Tuuka had been working as an agent for a Sith, specifically Shimrah. It was revealed that Shimrah, with the help of Tuuka, had faked his death and used Tuuka as a plant to gain access to leadership and power within another one of the clan's of the Brotherhood. When nobody challenged his usurpation, Shimrah became the new Aedile of House Deathwatch while Tuuka remained within the house as a paid mercenary.
