Character Sheet

Physical Description

Tam is a particularly unremarkable Clawdite woman with little to flaunt in her natural body. Sunken cheeks and eye sockets give her pale, yellow-green face a more gaunt look than others of such plain physicality. Her large, yellow eyes and low, small mouth appear to have a stern look at rest.

Most of Tam’s life is spent in a partially transformed state. To keep up an appealing look, she tends to take the form of a green-skinned humanoid with a cheerier, less gaunt face, and a fairly thin figure. Her excess body mass in this state is mostly used to augment whatever bodily feature seems to be winning her the most attention at any given moment. She is quite fond of tattoos, and mimics the appearance of several across her neck, chest, and arms, which change by the day. Although she can produce hair, Tam tends to wear wigs to ease the burden of concentration on her transformations; more reliably covered or concealed parts of her body tend to remain in their natural state, as well.

General Aspects

My Work, My Domain

Tam has worked tirelessly to achieve career success, and she’s not quitting anytime soon. Keeping her inn up and running is her top priority, and she will take any actions beneficial or necessary to make a profit and maintain the flow of business. Despite her success, she sometimes personally regrets some decisions she makes to stay afloat, and she has very little life to live outside of work.

In The Pirate's Cove

Most of Tam’s patrons aren’t galactic paragons; she knows many of those she serves are typical denizens of the galactic underbelly. While not one to engage in reprehensible behavior herself, she does not judge those around her for how they live their lives. For better or worse, Tam simply asks that any transgressions be taken outside of her domain, where it won’t affect her life and business.

Personality Aspects

The Perfect Face

Although she wasn’t born with common elegance, Tam has a talent for knowing what makes people tick and how to get the most out of them. With her shape-changing abilities, she makes a habit of subtly altering the features of any face she wears to win additional favor as she interacts with new people. Sometimes this gamble can win over her patrons, though it may put off others who were misread, or who catch onto her ruse and disapprove of it.

What Makes You Tick

Tam likes to believe that there is always a way to hold onto someone’s attention. Whether it’s putting on the right guise and making her environment more accommodating for the times; finding all the right words to keep people right where she wants them; or just spending a moment talking to someone who seems to need a good pick-me-up, Tam has a knack for herself into whatever goes on around her and finding some way to benefit.

Combat Aspects

Moment of Opportunity

Tam is not a trained combatant, but she often knows how to gain control of a situation. If she can’t get an advantage from the start, she will bide her time, find the right words to try and mitigate conflict, and take the first chance to turn the tide with an opportune strike or long play of deception. If she is outsmarted or has no play, however, there may be no better option than surrender.

Power of Word

Wordplay is Tam’s greatest strength, even in a heated scenario. After judging someone who poses a threat, she may turn to diplomacy to talk down a person with something to lose, cutting words to demoralize an overly-ambitious foe, or a well-crafted bluff to deceive her way into a better position. Despite her best intentions to mitigate conflict, some dangerous people simply won’t listen to words, and those are the ones who worry her.
