The Morph Halls are a series of technologically advanced rooms made for the Antei Combat Center for use in Combat Training. Located on Abyss, these rooms act as the battleground between combatants.
The rooms themselves appear to be simplistic in nature. The room itself is quite large, the walls colored in a dull-charcoal, with only a single light source from the ceiling giving the area any illumination. The nondescript nature of the rooms hides the advanced technological aspects that are actually contained within.
Creation
The Morph Halls were originally created by two dark jedi, James Lucius Entar and Cyberguy Quiritatio Entar. No where else in the galaxy does such technology exist, and it is believed that only a force user is able to manipulate the necessary technology to create such equipment.
Very few are able to push such technology further. Currently, only former Combat Master Dalthid, Grand Master Jac Cotelin and Seneschal Xia Long have the requisite power and skill necessary to handle such advancements.
Technology
When activated, the Morph Halls can make any scenario possible. Using a series of advanced holographic projectors and force fields, the Morph Halls can create any object with the illusion of substance. While the holographic images may appear to extend to an unlimited distance, the physical parameters of the Morph Hall never change. By continually adjusting the force fields and creating “treadmill” action with the force fields, it provides the illusion that the surroundings are truly limitless.
The Morph Halls are also able to manipulate gravity in three dimensions, allowing for such sensations as free-falling. Specialized A.I. infuse any characters within the venue a sense of unsurpassed realism, able to “fool” one’s sense of the force into believing what is in front of them is real and not an artificial construct.
Clan Halls
In recent years a set of satellite Morph Halls have been created within the various Clan systems for their personal use. While not nearly as advanced as those used by the ACC, there are numerous security measures ensuring none of the technology is “stolen” and used or sold by the Clans themselves.
