Personality and Appearance

Personality and Hobbies

Konte is an ambitious and driven man. Having grown up in an upper-class family he is a proud man and feels as if he must live up to his father’s accomplishments. Even though he had a privileged upbringing, he is a resourceful man; able to make the most with what ever he has and making it last for as long as possible. He has a strong moral compass and will often consider the affects his actions will have on those around him - and often to his family - even at the risk of harm befalling him.

His spare time is often occupied with trips back to his home planet of Yridia IX where he acts as his father’s aid in an attempt to learn more of the government structure and operation in a hope that it will make him a more able officer in the future of his naval career.

Appearance

Konte is a tall man and is built strong; not slim and not overweight. He keeps his hair cut to navy regulation and is always a sharp dresser, both on duty and off. His face sports sharp facial features which frame eyes that tell of his nearly three decade long naval career.

History

The Early Years

Konte was born on Yridia IX in 16 BBY into an aristocratic family. His mother was a house wife and his father served as a high level bureaucrat in the Yridian government. He lived a comfortable childhood, never going without something that he needed. His parents ensured, however, that he learnt the value of a credit and to not waste anything he was given.

He attended the best schools Yridia IX had to offer and would often volunteer in his father’s office during semester breaks and other holidays. He had strong academic achievement and was often top of his classes though he believed this to say more about his fellow class mates than his abilities.

The Tarentum Navy

Konte enlisted in the Tarentum Navy during the first recruitment call after his eighteenth birthday and began training as a Cryptographic Technician. On promotion to Petty Officer First Class he was assigned to the Aegis, monitoring communications between the Tarentum fleet and Tarentum’s satellite bases.

He served with the Tarentum Navy for over two and a half decades, saw more than his fair share of combat action, and was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer. He became a decorated, and well respected, non-commissioned officer and eventually he was given the opportunity of a life time.

Commission

Konte leapt at the change to receive a commission and complete initial office and flight training without question. Much to his supprise he took to flight easily and soon was assigned to Rapax Squadron aboard the BAC Doomsday as perhaps the least skilled pilot, but one of the more respected junior officers.
