Commander Jisela Driet is an accomplished starship captain serving in Tarentum’s navy. She is an expert in using starfighters in support of the Task Forces capital ships, whether it be providing a defensive screen or launching offensive sorties against enemy capital ships. Having grown up in the shadow of House Tarentum and Dark Jedi she is not intimidated nor will she tolerate a low ranking force user telling her how to run her ship.
Having demonstrated her expertise using starfighters, Commander Driet was given command of the Bothan Assault Cruiser Doomsday.
Family and Early Life
Jisela Driet was born into a wealth merchant family on Yarida XI. Growing up as the daughter of a wealthy trader Jisela was exposed to the Dark Jedi of House Tarentum at an early age, this exposure would go on to serve her well later in her career. From a young age Jisela was fascinated starships and space travel, she spent every free moment she had reading about or view vids about famous capital ship engagements. So when she came of age and graduated from secondary school there was not doubt that she would pursue an appointment to the Yridian Military Academy.
Early Career and Clan Tarentum
After winning a competitive appointment to the Yridian Military Academy, Jisela concentrates on capital ship and starfighter tactics, she develops many specialized tactics and maneuvers that seamlessly combine the agility of the starfighters and the massive firepower of the capital ships. After graduating first in her class, Jisela was commissioned as a Lieutenant Junior Grade and assigned as the flight coordinating officer on board the Escort Carrier Anubis.
Having demonstrated her brilliance at using fighters in support of the fleets capital ships during the Battle of Antei, then Lieutenant Driet was promoted Lieutenant Commander and assigned as Executive Officer of MJHC Corsair. Serving as an Executive Officer for a number of years prepared Commander Driet for her rise to Captain of her own capital ship. When the Bothan Assault Cruiser Doomsday was acquired by House Tarentum Commander Driet was the first choice to become her Commanding Officer.
Personality and Traits
Jisela Driet is not intimidated by force users and will not tolerate them telling her how to run her command. She believes actions are much louder than words, only after you've proven yourself in combat will she acknowledge your input. Commander Driet is not afraid to mix things up and employ unconventional tactics to get the job done.
