Zasati Tryezsh (born Tryezsha’lin Osechal Zelle; born 1 ABY), is a Jedi Hunter in House Ektrosis of Clan Taldryan.

Early Life

1 ABY - 15 ABY

Zasati was born in the capital city, Dimitor, of the planet Gallinore in the Transitory Mists of the Hapes Cluster in the 5th month of 1 ABY. Her mother, a Hapan named Tryezsha’lin Danidual, was the lead researcher of the Firedrake Project. Her father, a Human named Zutatim Osechal, was her mother’s assistant. An only child, the young half-Hapan had a relatively normal childhood: her family was well off and she was content. She was raised with strong Hapian values, believing that males were the lesser sex and that no one, not even family, should ever get in the way of one's rise to power.

16 ABY – 20 ABY

During her 15th year, Zasati's parents were targeted by the Hapes Consortium for reasons unknown to Tryezsh. The Consortium’s eyes and ears were ubiquitous across the Hapes Cluster and it wasn’t long before her parents were imprisoned and executed. Zasati escaped their fate largely in part to her parents’ foresight. They had sent her out into the city's surrounding rainforests, insisting she find any means of safe passage out of the Cluster. What they had not considered, was that planet's dense ground coverage was prim encampment territory for pirates.

As it happened, on that mist-heavy morning, Zasati was trekking to the last known location of her family’s emergency shuttle when she found herself lost. Much to her chagrin, she was seized by a pirate gang, named for their leader Ki’nota Siv. Despite all of her efforts, they departed her home planet with her as their prize.

Zasati was forced into servitude and branded by the pirate leader. He had two twisted lines tattooed on her left cheek, forever marking her as his property. To add insult to injury, the mark was a new technology designed to expose emotions and intentions of a slave. Made from holographic ink which, thanks to the unique inhibitor chip it was tied to, changed color in relation to her emotions. Any attempt at removal would result in device detonation.

She quickly found herself having to believe the lies she told or force herself to feel nothingness. Zasati bitterly preformed the tasks they deemed 'womanly', and prayed that she would someday find her way to freedom. The once proud Hapan, ashamed that she had fallen so far in disgrace quickly became hate-filled. She could hide nothing from her captors. To have such a mark was obscene and only brought disgrace.

Zasati Tryezsh, 26 ABY

They spent several long years out in the Transitory Mists, pillaging any unsuspecting vessels that came by, surviving only on what they could pilfer. It wasn't until Nova Cruisers disbanded her group, that she was able to escape in a Life Pod and abandon the Hapes Cluster and her captors.

21 ABY - 27 ABY

By the time she turned 20, she had made her way to Skor II and begun her training in the art of the sword. Her master, a Squib trader named Tivsa and was, as most Squibs were, talented at deal-making. He taught the young Hapan the ways of haggling and salvaging. He also suggested that Zasati begin to wear a veil, teaching her that attention to her Mark of Ownership was not something she would enjoy.

In her later wanderings, she found that many unwanted annoyances could be avoided by the simple veil. A few years later she crossed paths with a young woman who told her of unseen powers that could restore her honor. Eager, she sought out these powers and found herself introduced to the Dark Brotherhood.
