Vessel Info
The Vidar and the Vali are sister ships in the service of the Shadow Academy. They operate primarily as specialized training vessels, though they have been militarized and are capable of engaging in combat operations.
History
The Vidar and Vali are former pirate ships that used to have different names. The two ships managed to follow one of the Shadow Academy’s Corellian Star Shuttles all the way to the Shroud, hoping to find other targets. There the ships were disabled by Clan Tarentum’s ships assigned to protect the Shroud. The ships were turned over specifically to the Shadow Academy at the request of Headmaster Anshar Kahn Tarentae.
The ships were renamed, their armaments and shielding were augmented, and the two ships became specialized training platforms for promising new members. Specifically, the two ships are used to train for border patrol, interdiction, and boarding operations.
Action
To date, neither ship has been engaged in any official Brotherhood military operation.
