Uzbad Zol Tamalar is a Krath Priest in House Acclivis Draco of Clan Scholae Palatinae.
Character History
Uzbad was born on the Zabrak homeworld of Irdonia, around 10 ABY, not even Uzbad is sure of the exact date. He was taken off of Irdonia as a potential Jedi, due to his Force Sensitivity. While in Transport, Uzbad escaped from the Jedi and fled to the under-levels of Coruscant.
During his time in the under-levels, Uzbad devolved a toughness that has served him well in the Dark Brotherhood. He was also a member of a notorious gang, and spent most of his time evading law enforcement and other gangs.
Uzbad is unsure of how many years he spent living this freewheeling life, but eventually he tired of it and left Coruscant. The young Zabrak stole enough money to book passage on a ship to Irdonia, and finally returned to the village where he was born.
Upon his return he learned of his parents murders at the hands of the Jedi who had wanted to train Uzbad. Uzbad’s uncle took Uzbad under his wing, and learned of the young man’s struggle on Coruscant. Uzbad’s uncle spoke to the tribal elders, and they agreed that Uzbad had earned the right for traditional Zabrak tattoos.
Uzbad endured the entire process in one go, as tradition demanded, and emerged with his striking green and black tattoos. Afterwards, he bid farewell to his birthplace and embarked on a new journey.
Somewhere along the way he met one Esca Teiko, who introduced him to the Dark Brotherhood. After Uzbad graduated from the Shadow Academy and reached Protector, Esca became Uzbad’s first master and guided him through the rank ladder. Arania also served as Uzbad’s master awarding him the rank of Dark Jedi Knight.
