Muraght resides in the Kr'Tal System, which is currently controlled by Clan Taldryan.

History

Covered completely with water Muraght would be more home to aquatic aliens rather than mammalian ones. For Humanoid species to even live on the planet special domes have to be constructed that can withstand pressure from the waters. Scientists have theorized that thousands of years ago the planet once had continents that poked above the waters but due to plates shifting under the planet those landmasses eventually slid under the ocean. Home to thousands of underwater animals and countless types of unknown micro organisms Muraght is a dream world for marine biologists. Mostly clear skies and shimmering blue waters define this world as a sapphire in space.

Continents

Axida

A large plateau on the southern portion of Muraght, Axida was once an active volcano as well but went dormant four hundred years ago leaving behind a big enough area to build a domed structure for people to live in. The edges of this plateau have a large drop off into black canyons and small mountain ranges. Civilization isn't likely to expand here due to the expensive materials and equipment needed to make habitation possible as well as the large sea serpents that live on the opposite side of the plateau that keep to themselves unless provoked.

Cities

Yoren

Protected underneath a large plasteel dome this city coves only a small portion of Axida but provides a highly prized material. The active volcanoes in the surrounding area produce Sittana Marble, a well grained stone used for constructing grand halls and palaces in places like Coruscant. Automated drones with a few sentient beings for crew go out and collect the material from the volcano and sent it through a conveyor belt inside the city to sort out the Sittana Marble and put it in cargo containers to be sent to float to the surface. Small automated droid shuttles come down and grab the containers and take them to their destinations.

Seas

Ventrum Ocean

The only ocean on the entire planet, Ventrum covers the entire surface of Muraght with deep valleys and underwater mountains as well as a single continent suitable for habitation. Active volcanoes under the ocean still spew out contents from the center of the world to form mounds of materials that in a few thousand years will be able to pierce the surface of the water and make life above Ventrum possible. Sea creatures of all kinds inhabit this ocean from neon colored fish at the deeper levels to small algae eating animals.

Moons

Yauvw
Yauvw

Yauvw

Black soot and ash cover almost every inch of this moon. Once highly active volcanoes dotted the land hundreds of years ago but now those same volcanoes have gone dormant allowing for civilization to thrive on Yauvw. As with most previously active volcanic areas Yauvw is rich in metals and stones from the moon's core. Mining is the main economic source here and forces the inhabitants to rely heavily on imported foodstuffs since the land isn't suitable for farming. Most of the time one of Taldryan's corvettes is nearby to handle situations from pirate attacks to evacuations from the surface.
