Persuasion

Persuasion

File:FP-Persuasion.jpg

Prerequisites:

A lesser form of Mind Trick, this power is used to persuade a target to ignore the user's presence - inevitably making the practitioner "invisible" to the target if successful.

Mind Trick

File:FP-MindTrick.jpg

Prerequisites:

  • Third Rite (EQ1 - EQ4)
  • Force power: Persuasion, 5 points

This ability is used to coerce, convince, or otherwise influence a target's thoughts in a way that aligned those thoughts with the user's thoughts or intentions. In particular, it was often invoked to coerce the target into agreement by verbal suggestion, to cause one to reveal information, or to appeal to a sensory impression for distraction.

Control Mind

File:FP-ControlMind.jpg

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Force power: Mind Trick, 5 points

Affecting allies only, Control Mind allows one to guide the actions of allies, overriding their individual mental processes and replacing them with the user's synchronized commands. This increases the efficiency of allies in combat.

Dominate Mind

File:FP-DominateMind.jpg

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Control Mind, 5 points

This ability allows a Grand Master to bend the will of a target to the point that he completely takes over their mind. Often this power leaves the target mentally incapacitated after the connection has been severed and can result in death.

Illusion

Illusion

File:FP-Illusion.jpg

Prerequisites:

Illusion is the ability to generate visions, hallucinations and images in the mind of a target. These illusions become so pervasive in a target's mind that he could comprehend them on all levels of his senses; smell , touch, sight etc., though they are not real.

Projection

File:FP-Proection.jpg

Prerequisites:

  • Mastery (DA - DP)
  • Force power: Illusion, 5 points

Projection was a technique employed to create a false image of the user in order confuse and distract enemies.

Doppelganger

File:FP-Doppelganger.jpg

Prerequisites:

  • Grand Mastery (GM only)
  • Force power: Projection, 5 points

Doppelganger is a variant of Force Projection. This technique allows the Grand Master to create a perfect illusion of himself through the Force. This illusion can interact with the environment and even use the Force. Detectable by droids, audio, and visual sensors, the doppelganger appeared to be real in every sense. The doppelganger vanishes if the Grand Master is injured or falls unconscious.
