Early Childhood

One day in 3 years after the Battle of Yavin, Corellia was suffering a horrible storm. In a cottage located in a large field, a little baby was born, and he was named Laigerick . The father was Narklin Sithelhood, and was the Archduke of the farming town of Giran. The mother was Jianna Danigo, the Duchess of Giran. As Giranian custom dictates, the male baby's last name would be that of his fathers, Sithelhood. Young Laigerick lived a normal infancy. When he reached the age of 6, he got into a lot of activities. His favorite activity was running through the grassy fields, or swimming in the crystal clear lake at the edge of the farm property. When he reached the age of 9, after his numerous farming chores, like helping to plow the fields, or feeding the Krahbu, he learned to podrace. He competed in many races, and got well calling bets. At the age of 10 years, he got interested in combat, as any older child did. He was trained in Shadow Fist hand-to-hand combat. He was also trained in pole weapons and piloting the best way that Republic Credits could afford. When young Laigerick turned the age of 14, his piloting skills were that of Anakin Skywalker's. Noticing this, his father did some bargaining with local traders, and got Laigerick his own ship. It was dubbed the Merk-6. Laigerick often had this stored in the hangar bay of his parent's corvette.

Teens

Upper class in Corellia was not considered really "upper-class" if they did not do at least some trading. Therefore, Laigerick's family started to trade with nearby star systems. New revenue started to pile up in the pocket books of the Sithelhood family. However, they were often attacked by smugglers, enemy traders, and space pirates. They had many gunner crews, so they were fine most of the time. However, once was different. A Black Sun squadron of TIE Phantoms uncloacked at the Corvette's starboard side. They unleashed full firepower. The ship was soon disabled completely, and the pirates started to board. Laigerick's parents held off the blaster fire as they urged him to escape. He fled to the hangar bay hesitantly. He boarded the Merk-6, and launched off the ship. When he was a good 50 meters away, he saw an explosion. His heart felt heavy as he realized his parents were dead.

Saved

Laigerick was left for dead. He was forced to turn the ships power off so his scarce fuel supplies wouldn't run out. He was hungry, he hadn't eaten or drunk anything for a whole week. He was on the virge of death. He didn't know it, but his ship was orbiting the core planet of a system called Enriton. The Merk-6 appeared on the sensor array of a Homeland Security Corvette. The beamed him on board. He was rushed to the infirmary. When the ship landed at a bay in the main city, the boy was brought to a hearing before Count Saudu. He was labeled in orphan, and a minor. Laigerick was put under the care of local spice farmers. Dismal, the Count's son, made frequent trips to the spice farmer's residence to collect taxes and other things of that matter. He met Laigerick many times. They talked a lot, and seeing as they were both trained extensively in combat and piloting, they fought and raced many times. Before long, they were the best of friends.

The Horrible Truth

One ordinary day, Dismal did not show up. Laigerick thought he might be sick or something, so he waited. For several weeks, there was no sign of Dismal. Laigerick went inside to his small room, and turned on his radio. He tuned in to the local HoloNet channel, and listened to the hourly news program. In todays news, the former Count's son, Dismal, has lost in a landslide vote for Count. The new Count is General Saito, former 5 Star General. We have an unconfirmed report that Dismal has exiled himself somewhere in the near woods. Now, for local sports news, we go to... He turned the radio off. That was all he needed to hear. He got a blaster, and headed into the woods. He traveled until his feet hurt. He suddenly stumbled upon the ruins of a nomadic camp in a tree. He noticed a scrap of paper nailed to the trunk. It read: Dear Friend, I knew you would come to find me. I have went to Anobis in search for a better life. ~Dismal. Laigerick then knew what he must do. He went back to the ranch and got in the Merk-6 and set course for Anobis. After he got on the surface he asked around for days until finally, the bartender at Retre's Diner told him about how Dismal got angry and used the force to knock the plate over, and then later how he was approached by a cloaked figure. After learning this, Laigerick went outside to continue his search. As soon as he walked through the door, he felt a stabbing pain in his neck. He looked down to see a tranquilizer dart. He then fell down to the floor, paralized, but not yet unconscious. The last thing that he remembered, a cloaked figure was walking towards his body.

Shadow Academy

Laigerick awoke lying on a seat on a mysterious shuttle. His vision was blurred, but he managed to read a sign on the dashboard saying "To Shadow Academy at Antei". He quickly went back to sleep. Laigerick was quickly awoken by a loud buzz. The pilot said loudly, "We're at the academy! All Initiates off!" Laigerick made a connection that he must be an Initiate, so he followed the mass of bodies. He quickly arrived at the famed Shadow Academy. He was faced with a decision. He was to choose of three orders, one of which he must join: Order of the Sith, Order of the Obelisk, or Order of the Krath. He weighed the pros and cons, and chose the Sith. Being a new Sith, he was placed at the Onderon Campus. When he arrived, he found his friend Dismal with his nose in a scroll, studying very hard. They exchanged a greeting, then Laigerick went to his Initiation course. At the Academy, Laigerick skills were mixed with the ways of Dark Side of the Force, to create an even deadlier weapon of Laigerick. He practiced his combat during the day, and studied long and hard through difficult texts and scrolls each night. The Corellian barley had time to eat and sleep, much anything else. Nonetheless, Laigerick was persistant for he knew he would gain more power than he could ever imangine if he continued. One day he was approached by a Krath Archpriest by the name of Valerian di Plagia Orzon. He told Laigerick that he saw the Sith Lord inside of him that would one day reveal itself to the world. Orzon took him as his student and taught him in the more advanced ways of the force and sent him on missions to test his skill, but all to prove the young boys potential to the Dark Council, showing that he was Dark Jedi material.

Present

Laigerick Sithelhood is currently the Esquire to Blackstone, The First Senior Pilot of Battle Team Exar's Shadow, an ACC Initiate, and a Guardian of the Dark Path. He is committed to furthering his knowledge of the Force.
